Q: How quickly does the polish dry?

I didn't really have a chance to test it. My baby woke up while I was quickly getting the 2nd nail painted and she moved and everything for smeared. They are too fast and even though I play with their hands and feet all the time, I had no success with the polish! I wasted my money.

Q: Does it work with darker colored nails?

We bought the pink nail polish and the neon purple nail polish. The pink showed up really well on our dog's dark nails, but surprisingly the neon purple hardly showed up at all. I haven't tried any other colors yet, but I definitely recommend the pink.
