These are fantastic shoes. Been buying them since 2005 for my boys (now near-adult sons) as dress shoes. We first purchased them because the boys were in a marching band. But they were so comfortable and sturdy that we started using them as dress shoes. They are nice enough to pair with a good men's suit for speech and debate tournaments, weddings, etc. Since they are made to take a beating (think: hot asphalt, many hours, marching with heavy brass instruments) they are great for any time they need to be on their feet all day/evening in virtually any circumstance. (They wear well too. Been passing them down to the next son, for a total wear season of 2-3 years each pair.) They fit very "true to size" and have a nice fit at the heel and instep, regardless of the foot width (B to extra wide).

Great product with great, old school service
I ordered 1 pair and they were sent from Georgia very quickly and delivered by my mail carrier. The packaging was nicely minimal, just a plastic sleeve around the shoebox. The shoebox is nicely minimal with unbleached cardboard. The shoes are beautiful and fit as expected (I wear converses all-stars and vans authentics normally). They are really comfortable and have good grip and support. These are vegan and really affordable and well made. The whole process ordered through smile.amazon.com felt good. My purchase benefited charity, was handled by USPS (‘merica), and what was delivered was a quality product at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Comfortable and great for marching band
My teenage son bought these for marching band and has found them comfortable enough to wear other times we needed black dress shoes. Sturdy, comfortable, fit slightly big but not enough to size down.

Very cushy!
