Excellent Michael Jordan Material
This 7 disc set currently sells for $37 on Amazon. It is really excellent. While it has five good films that focus on Jordan's career, his acceptance speech during his Hall of Fame induction, and some of his greatest moves, I was especially interested in the five games that are shown in their entirety. The only other reviewer of this set, as of the time of my writing this, was disappointed that the producers didn't present the games' highlights instead, but I really liked seeing the whole games. Here are the games that are featured:Disc 3: 1986 Eastern Conference Playoffs, Chicago vs Boston. Boston has the best record in the conference with 67 wins and 15 loses, while Chicago has the worst record in the conference with 52 loses. Jordan missed ¾ of this season due to injury. The Bulls go on to win the NBA Finals. In this game Jordan scores 63 points, his career high at that point, which beat Elgin Baylor's 61 points for an all time single playoff game high. This is Jordan's second season. He was Rookie of the Year the year before. In this 1986 game, Larry Bird, Bill Walton and Robert Parish are among the Boston players and I really like having a game where I can watch Bird and Walton play. With 0 seconds in the 4th quarter Jordan is fouled and makes 2 foul shots to tie the game at 116. At the end of first overtime the game is tied at 125. At the end of the second OT Boston wins 135 to 131. It's a great game.Disc 4: 1990 game, Chicago vs Cleveland. Cleveland has the worst record in their division while Chicago is third best. It is a pretty good game that goes into OT with a 105 tie at the end of regulation. Chicago wins in OT 117 to 113. Jordan beats his career high of 63 by scoring 69 points. At the time this was 8th place in all time NBA scores, with 6 places held by (of course) Wilt Chamberlain and the other two by David Thompson and Elgin Baylor.Disc 5: 1993 Finals, Game 4: Chicago vs Phoenix. Charles Barkley and Richard Dumas are among the Phoenix players and Paul Westphal is their coach. Starting for the Bulls are Jordan, Scottie Pippen, Horace Grant, Bill Cartwright and B. J. Armstrong. In the first half Jordan scores 33 points to tie Isaiah Thomas for the most field goals in an NBA Finals game half (as of that game, at least). Overall Jordan scored 55 points to tie Rick Barry for 2nd highest score in an NBA finals game, as of that time (Elgin Baylor had the record at 61 points). Chicago won 111 to 105. It is a pretty exciting game.Disc 6: 1997 Finals, Game 5: Chicago vs Utah ("The Flu Game"). This DVD starts with a brief visual and auditory summary of the final series up to this point. At the time of this game the Finals series is tied 2-2. Chicago went on to win this game and to win the series 4 to 2. John Stockton, Karl Malone, and Greg Ostertag are among the key players for the Jazz. At the end of the first quarter Utah is ahead 29-16. Then they lead at the end of the half 53-49. At the end of the third quarter Utah leads 72-67. With 46.5 sec. left in the game, and Utah ahead 85-84, Jordan is fouled . He makes the first of his two foul shots to tie the game, then recovers the lose ball from his second foul shot and makes a three pointer to put Chicago ahead 88-85 with 25 seconds left. The final store is Chicago 90, Utah 88. Obviously fatigued and sick with the flu, Jordan plays a heroic game and was the highest scorer with 38 points. An exciting game.Disc 7: 1998 Finals, Game 6: Chicago vs Utah. This program starts with a very brief summary of the Finals so far. At the time of this game Chicago is leading the Finals series 3-2. They go on to win this game and to win the series 4-2. Scottie Pippen re-injures his back in the first quarter and goes out of the game until the second half. He plays much of the second half but is obviously hurt. Utah leads at the end of each of the first three quarters and is ahead 86-85 with 5.2 seconds to go in the game when Jordan makes a two point shot, which allows the Bulls to win 87-86. By winning this Finals series, the Bulls win their sixth NBA championship and their second "three-peat". According to Wikipedia: "The 1998 Finals holds the highest television rating of any Finals series in history, and Game 6 holds the highest television rating of any game in NBA history." It was a great game. This is a great purchase for the price. And it is a real treat to watch Jordan on the court.

Great Jordan Tribute
This 7 disc DVD set has very excellent Michael Jordan material, someone has already posted exactly what each DVD contains so i am not going to beat a dead horse, i love the material but i do have 1 problem with the DVD not so much the set its the case its very thin and cheaply made. once i opened the package the case fell apart that was kind of depressing. i did glue it back together though. the case is set up with a thin cardboard box set around 4 very small dvd cases the cardboard pice is the one that snapped. it has 4 cases (2 discs per case except the 7th disc, the 7th disc is in its on case) but besides the cardboard breaking this is a very good collection and i am very happy that it was released

A must for every Jordan fan
This 7 disc set is definitely something every true Jordan fan should have. As already described to great extent in other reviews it has 5 documentary films, plus dunks, assists, etc. highlights. For me the big plus was that it has 5 complete games instead of just game highlights. Seeing this games again, with no commercial interruptions and without the suffering of waiting for the outcome live has allowed me to even enjoy more Jordan's and the rest of the gang wonderful plays. I'm very happy with this set and I highly recommend it.

The G.O.A.T.
This is a perfect gift for anyone who loves the GOAT, Michael Jordan. Includes some of his memorable games he played including that very popular "Flu" against the Jazz. I bought this as a gift to my husband, we've watched it a couple of times already. What a great collection!

but I guess my Boyfriend liked it, he watched it once
It wasn't for me, but I guess my Boyfriend liked it, he watched it once. Maybe not the greatest gift for a boyfriend, just buy him some shoes instead if he likes Michael Jordan.

Solid purchase
I've only watched the Celtics game from the '80s so far, but just having complete Jordan games with commercials edited out is awesome. A must for any Jordan fan.
