UPPERCUT DELUXE Featherweight Pomade, Firm Hold, Low Shine, 2.5 oz / 70g

Best Pomade cream I ever had it hold my hair in place and low shine for my straight and thick hair. :)

I use this regularly (daily) and love it. Awesome control that is very light weight. It is very stiff and like glue so not easy once you set your hair but it will stay and you will not even have to worry about re-wetting your hair. I find that it works better with dry hair so I use blow dry method then put a very small amount of this in and brush it some times right after you apply. If you wait even just a few minutes then it is very stiff and hard to brush but it holds great. I have stick straight hair and it holds it in place all day long.

It lives up to the name if you use a small amount. I made the mistake of using the amount I use with PM Tea tree shaping cream and the hold was far too tacky for my taste. I adjusted to just a dab on my fingertip and it made a huge difference. You get the hold you need without that crunchy feeling and unnatural look that some products create. The citrus scent is very pleasant. Another thing I like is how easy it is to rinse out at night before bed. Some products make me feel like I need to shampoo but that is not the case with this. This will also last a LONG time. Overall a great value.

I was a fan of this product. It smelled pretty good. It reminded me of lemon and other citrus. It did not last long after applying. It was less greasy then my old Bed Head Fiber hair product but still had little grease feel after a 8ish hour day. It had great hold and low to no shine unless you hair was wet. Unfortunately my upper eyelids got irritated after a few use or I'd still use it.

My hair is about 1-inch long, straight, and VERY FINE (finer than a baby's). This paste is perfect for it. I just wipe a couple of my fingers across the paste -- picking up just a little bit, rub my hands together, and pat into my hair. A miracle! My hair stays where I put it and withstands a hat without flattening. It washes out with shampoo. I've tried just about everything on the market. This one is now my fave.

In my view, basically any hair product review needs to be taken with a grain of salt because there are probably precious few - if any - hair products that are a "one size fits all" option given the fact that everyone's hair is quite different. So, I want to start by saying that the main reason I can't give featherweight a higher review is the fact that I have very fine/soft hair and it's difficult to find a product that works well with the way my hair is. Most thicker pomades and hair products I've used wind up tearing my hair out and are not malleable enough to style. Featherweight is a very thick paste, and doesn't give much. That said, it worked into my hair quite nicely. I really loved the scent, the hold was EXCELLENT, and I think the low/no shine finish is also awesome (if you're looking for a product with no shine, I'd recommend this). That being said, the thing I didn't like about Featherweight is how thick it was and the relatively short amount of time you have to style before it really started making my hair prickly and unmoveable without adding a lot more water. That's not really something I can hold against the product though, I just think my hair is better suited for a different type of product. I'd definitely recommend Featherweight, though, depending on your hair type. Strengths: hold, scent, finish/look. Had it been a little less thick/sticky, it could very well have been the perfect product for me.

I apply in almost dry hair every morning after a shower, using the amount it takes to feel it covering the palms of my hands after it's rubbed around for a few seconds. I start by my cowlick-of-doom and work my way forward, easily getting volume and a textured look, and then I run my palms on the sides from front to back. Finally, I make sure there's a bit done at the back of my head so it doesn't look forgotten. This stuff's new to me and I've used similar pastes and muds and waxes in the past, but I guess I've just learned what it took for my hair. This lasts me all day and I will hunt down and violently tickle anyone who messes up the future production of this product (my sentence-fu appears strong today). My hair is straight, dense (lots of it), and fine as frell, and I'm finally learning what to do with. I wear it short on the sides with some length on top that's lightly textured, and keep it trimmed on the sides every 3 weeks - it grows out fast and it will show very easily when it needs a trimming. I always go home and shower after a haircut because the fine hairs get under my shirt and make me itch. Hope that helps you understand my rating.

Tolles Produkt und leicht zum einarbeiten. Auch spätere Korrekturen der Haare sind mit ein wenig Wasser möglich.
