Q: Is the chair white or off white? How much of a difference from pure white is noticeable?

This chair is off white, not bright white, however, it's nice and blends well with the white cabinets and shelves in my craft studio. When visitors see it they usually say, "that's a nice white chair". I like it.

Q: I'm worried about the chair staining, particularly with denim. Anyone have experience cleaning it and keeping white/off white?

I have only had the chair for about 7-8 months, but so far I have had no problems, it's quite comfortable, no stains from denim, and that's about all I wear, I'm older so i use the arms to stand up and there is no discoloration where i put my hands, all in all I really like the chair and it was a very reasonable price.

Q: what is pu leather? is it a bonded leather? if it is a bonded leather will it hold up ? my current office chair is peeling the bonded lea

It is polyurethane (PU) "leather," a.k.a. pleather (plastic "leather") or man-made leather. They are very good quality these days and may take many years of use before they start to tear or peel.

Q: Does it roll on carpet easily?

I found that it does not roll easily on my carpet, short pile, so I am getting a mat.
