Charging Car Mount (VHB)

I love Peak Design products. They are all extremely well designed and over-engineered to insure a quality product that lasts a long time. I didn't need a charging mount since I generally don't spend long periods in my car and don't really have any issue with my battery running low during my day. The mount is solidly built, not like so many of the cheap ones you see out there. Detailed mounting instructions are included as well as everything you need to mount it in your car. Peak Design has a lifetime warranty on all their products, this one included. The magnet is super strong so no worries about the phone falling off. This is a great mount...probably the last one you will need. BTW, you can remove it if you need to, in the event you trade cars. Instructions and materials to remount are included in the box. The mount is exceptional...I highly recommend this product.

Great design, these magnetic mounts are the best I've yet come across. My phone fell off my mag safe mount in the car more than a few times whether due to road conditions or myself accidentally knocking it off. The road conditions that would knock it off this mount would destroy my car, yet it's easy to pull off. Great mounting system, and the other accessories work the same way.

I like the thinner base. I had few spots in my Subaru Ascent that I could mount it, and most bases were too massive. This was sleek and has good magnetic connection to my phone. It was easy to put on my car and holds steady without wobbling. The cost was more affordable than the next level one with the charging cord attached. It’s easy enough to plug in my cord to my phone and stick it on the magnet.

Strong magnet and nice movement on the ball joint. Mounted it yesterday and I am waiting for the 24-hour sealing period to end. My concern here in western WA is the minimum temperature for the mount to adhere to my dashboard. It gets down to about 45F in my garage each evening so I have been putting a thick towel in the dryer and then wrapping it every few hours to maintain some heat. Is this obsessive? We'll see if this works tomorrow & beyond.

A pricy magnet with a 3m adhesive on the back. Works great though!

I have had many phone car holders over the years I am in my vehicles for work 7 days per week 8-10 hours per day .. I bought one for each vehicle. Easy to set up Very strong Not bulky, work great, best iPhone car holder I have had

Followed all the directions to clean the area. Put the mount on for 24 hours. And it didn't stay attached to my dashboard. It comes with two adhesive pieces but there is still way to get the sticky part off the bount itself to put on the second piece well. Very disappointed in this because now I have a case for a system that doesn't work to support my phone on the car and an expensive metal bracket that won't support the weight of my phone.

Nach Anleitung angebaut (Wartezeiten beachten, dann hält auch der Kleber!) funktioniert die Halterung tadellos. Das Telefon bleibt selbst bei holprigen Strecken sicher da, wo es hingehört. Lediglich die Basis ist zu unflexibel (bzw. der "Hals" zu kurz), um die Halterung in modernen Autos mit großen Displays überall anbringen zu können. Aber irgendwo findet man immer einen Platz, und man soll ja während der Fahrt nicht am Handy fummeln.

Peak Design est une marque que j’apprécie tout particulièrement dans le domaine de la photo. Je n’ai donc pas hésité une seconde lorsqu’ils ont enfin sorti leur gamme pour téléphones ! Muni de la coque de la meme marque, dès que je rentre dans la voiture je pose mon téléphone. Pas besoin de bien le positionner, il le fait tout seul graces aux aimants super bien positionnés et alignés ! C’est un vrai plus par rapport à tous les support aimantés que j’ai pu avoir ! Et ça tient très très bien !! Je n’ai qu’un seul regret, c’est de ne pas avoir pris la version avec chargeur intégré ! Les prix sont élevés, mais la qualité est là et les produits sont garantis à vie, il vous suffit de les enregistrer sur leur site !

Estaba buscando un soporte MagSafe para el coche en el que conectar mi iPhone 13 Pro Max. Tras mucho buscar y ver algunos modelos que van enganchados a las rejillas del aire que por el formato de los de mi coche no me encajaban, vi este modelo de Peak Design (ya tenía previamente la funda de la misma marca del iPhone). Existen dos formatos, el que transmite carga inalámbrica y el que solo es soporte MagSafe, que es el que yo adquirí. El embalaje es sencillo pero cuidado, e incluye las instrucciones (en inglés) a seguir, que resumiendo consisten en: 1. Utilizar una toallita que viene incluida para limpiar la zona donde vamos a colocar el soporte. 2. Esperar al menos 5 minutos a que se seque. 3. Despegar la pegatina inferior del soporte y pegarlo en la zona limpia ejerciendo presión sobre la base durante al menos 30 segundos. 4. Esperar 24h para utilizarlo, sin poner en este tiempo el teléfono en el soporte (aquí recomiendan que la temperatura del interior del vehículo en esas 24 horas oscile entre 17 y 27 grados). Hecho todo ello, puedo decir que funciona a la perfección, queda muy sujeto a la zona del salpicadero que elegí para colocarlo, el iPhone 13 Pro Max (tamaño grande y mas peso) se sujeta con fuerza y no se mueve en todo el viaje. Muy contento, ahora solo el tiempo dirá si es también una buena compra a largo plazo.
