This is the best waterproof bike light extension cable, and perfect for outdoor use in inclement weather conditions where it's critical to have a pulsating red safety light running on the left side of a bicycle. This cannot be overstated or stressed enough- using this high quality cable could save your life one day. Thinking of it another way, much better to be annoying, than not seen by dangerous and distracted drivers!For this high vibration mtn bike application, this extension was cut/wired to the battery holder using two watertight 16-22 AWG red butt connectors. The holder can then be stored in a closed container and/or a bag under the seat, with the cable routed to the taillight (mounted to the left side A frame near the rear wheel hub).
