It’s very sturdy and extra long and works as intended

I had very limited space where I wanted to mount a TV. After thinking about it for a while, I came up with the idea to store the tv vertically when it’s not being used. In order to successfully do that, I needed a mount that had a longer than usual arm and the option to rotate 90°. So far, the system is working great. Really the only thing negative I would say about the mount is that extending the arms is a bit difficult as they are pretty stiff. Used a 10mm Allen wrench to loosen it as much as I could. It improved a little.

It does exactly as advertised. 3 joint arm, 4 foot length, full rotation of the device, and it is solid. The installation of the mount to wall is a breeze with the instructions. The tv halts instructions werent so easily followed, but once its together it works great. The initial arm is rather tight, but can be loosened.

To be honest, this wasn't my first wall mounted TV install. That being said, this was super simple to install. The included template made the job a breeze. The hardest part about the install isn't hanging the mount, it's making sure the TV is level. Even if the mount is level, the TV can still be off level. You'll need to adjust it and then lock down all the side screws. As for the range of motion, it pulls all the way out and then turns a full 90 degrees. This makes it so we can have our couch in front of the TV and our gym off to the left. Whenever we need to workout, simply pull the TV out and turn it so it faces the gym. Very convenient.

This mount is heavy duty and was easy to install if you have some experience. My issue with it is that the bolts and nuts at the articulation points of the arm are so tight that it’s extremely difficult to extend or fold back the arm. It literally takes two people and it’s a hassle. This makes it very impractical, especially for older folks. I tried to loosen the bolts and nuts but they’re extremely tight and won’t give. I will have to look elsewhere for a better product.
