This book is an excellent companion to developing a unit of lessons based on dinosaurs. While this book is sparks children's imagination, it is also careful to point out the concept that dinosaurs lived on the earth a long time ago before people which can lead to factual based science lessons. This book can be used as a prompt for further investigation into expository text, support art activities, and encourage creative writing. I highly recommend this delightful book.

My son's favorite book

I bought this book for my daughter to take to school for dinasour week. She loves it! So much in fact she keeps it in her bathroom to read when she is on the potty.
