Mojo Yak Casting Rod 7'0"

Good sensitivity. Will buy St.Croix again.

This rod is quite light in the hand and I liked the shortened handle for kayak fishing. However, it has now broken twice under normal use--first just below the tip top, then about six inches from the top. The graphite used in the manufacture of this rod appears to be just too brittle. I'll be sending it back under warranty.

The change in handle proportions makes this way more comfortable to use in a kayak or any situation where you might be sitting while fishing

I did not get to try the rod I selected a casting rod but they sent a spinning rod. So either the description on Amazon is wrong or the manufacturer has a issue with there vision. The rod is very nice and looks great if you can see unlike Amazon or St crotch

I have a few St croix rods and have always been happy. This rod’s tip doesn’t seem to be very durable. I cast into some weeds and lure got hung up. As I tried to free it the tip snapped. I fish a lot around weeds and have never seen a rod snap from it. Shame for the money.
