HyperX PBT Keycaps – Full Key Set, Double Shot PBT Material, English (US) Layout, 104 Keys – Black

I put these on a 1.5 year old HyperX Alloy Origins Core because the original cheap ABS caps started disintegrating on me. These don't even compare to the originals. I write code, I game. These are excellent. Textured surface vs the shiny slippery ABS ones, very sturdy feeling, perfect fit.I added rubbers (look for 120Pcs Rubber O-Ring Switch Dampeners for Cherry MX), quiet and soft.Only possible drawback I can see for some is they are less bright, but for me, that's another plus.

SO I got these keys because the OG ones that came with my keyboard just were flimsy and just kept snapping, these are actually better made. I highly recommend these to anyone. yeah you dont get the same glow effect as the OG keys. but heck its better than them breaking like mad all the time. Stronger and thicker plastic.

This fit my HyperX keyboard just fine, the keys do feel better than the ABS keycaps my keyboard had out of of the box. However, I had to turn up the RGB brightness from around 30% to 100% to match the same amount of brightness on the lettering. I do not have previous experience with PBT keycaps so... this could be typical. It's not a huge deal for me, but it might be for others.

Unfortunately, my set did not come complete, I don't have a D key and a + key, very disappointed. Otherwise the quality of the keycaps is apparent.

Purchased to send to my son in college. They function as intended and as described and were a good value for the money. They have lasted a long time bandwagon be very durable.

Coming from the abs caps on the core tkl these are so much better. Grippy, thicker and better sound. Easy install with included puller. My fingers stay better in place when gaming. No more greasy leftover marks that appeared on the abs caps. Only thing I don't like and all the positives make up for is the rgb shine through is weaker but expected do to it being double shot pbt.

Font is personal preference, but because I used these to build a white keyboard for a friend, it's not a concern! These light up well and sound good -- if that's your thing you may or may not find these to your preference, but they're legit. I have them in a gasketed keyboard and ended up with a very thocky sound using these keycaps, foam, the gasket mount, and non-name brand quality key switches. I actually prefer these to my regular keyboard's key cap feel, but I have south LEDs and this is a north LED set so I'll just admire them and not use them for my own rig.I'd buy these again if building a keyboard for someone else, because of the font only -- in every other sense these are very good and especially for the money I paid.
