MEAN WELL 150W Single Output Switchable Power Supply LRS-150-12 12V 12.5A For 3D Printer, Lab Equipments, Household and Industrial Applications

I have purchased several MEAN WELL power supplies. They have all worked well. Although not "premium" components, they are solid and seem well made. They cool themselves effectively and provide the rated power. A great value for what you pay for it.

Vehicle radios can use a lot of current when driving low impedance speakers, drawing up to 10A. This power supply works well. No interference from the switching circuit that I could hear.

Works like a charm for LED lights and it has plenty of voltage trim on it to adjust the lights up and down. Mine doesn't seem to get too warm of have had any issues yet running near 9-10amps of load from nearly 120ft or so of LED lighting.MeanWell is a decent value brand of PSU units, specifically went with this over some of the lesser known ones for this reason. They are a very reasonable price for a least a half decent reputation in the industrial power supply world. So you won't go wrong with this I think.

I bought this ti upgrade a cheap 3d printer. It works great , it's silent , and clamped raised power . I did add active cooling with a noctua 120mm fan and it's a workhorse psu

I got tired of hearing the annoying buzz of the transform in my 12V 12A analog supply. I ripped out the uA723 regulator board and the transformer and replaced the "guts" with this Meanwell. Meanwell supplies have been a good and reliable product. I have been using them for quite a few years on two way radio installs. A lightning strike is about the only reason they fail. No HF radio interference, more efficient, no hot case, and no annoying buzz.

Another meanwell power supply that just does it's job without complaint. I was able to bump the voltage up to 13.8 V for use in a pop-up camper.

When I plugged in, there was no 12 V. Later I found that Voltage selector switch was set to 230 V, as soon as I toggle the switch to 115 V, 12 V was there. A small note stating this in the box could have save time as I started the return process.

After running 10A at 12 volts for a few minutes, the temperature gets about 50-55 celsius (room temperature was about 25 celsius). However I had no issues after 1 hour. I am not an expert but the quality of the components and the material looks pretty nice and plus it has several protections like surge protection (300VAC for 5 seconds), over load protection, over temperature protection. Overall it's a great SMPS power supply and worths the money!

If you know anything about power supplies, you know don’t even waste your time purchasing any other power supply other than MeanWell. I’ve never had a meanwhile power supply in the last 15 years fail on me. Just always make sure to add 20% overhead to the size of your power supply and it will never get hot and never fail.

Great product. Used it for led strip illumination. No problem at all. Takes the load easily. Very compact yet powerful enough. Nicely built. Well, now you can get it at cheaper price. That is a bonus. I purchased it at 2700. You can now get it as low as 1500.
