It works until it’s doesn’t. Junk.

You do not need a smart something to connect this light. It will connect directly to your phone through the internet. So it has its own app. However, you do need to put the app on your phone in order to control the light. The color choice is truly limitless. In addition, you can control the ring of color on the lamp and how far that ring extends outside of the lamp. Pretty cool.

I purchased for small laundry/mud room. Way too sensitive for my needs. Sitting in a different room, with no direct line of sight, kept coming on every time I sat on the couch or got up! Also very bright. Would be great for a different application. It has come on four times just as I’ve written this, and I’m just sitting on the couch!

Great price, easy install. But… it often comes on at night for no reason, with noone moving. Appears to be super sensitive to something but was unable to figure out what it is.

Light was working good, if good meant it cut on while behind a closed door anytime you were within 8 feet of the door. Worked for about 2 months and won't turn on. I would not recommend this light to anyone.

Easy install and motion detection works. Light did not last more than a month.

The light works fine. But the motion sensor is crazy sensitive. I swear it sees thru doors. Would be great to have it adjustable.

No movement no light on or even in full brightness. This light will continue to turn on in a closed closet with nothing in it. Also the light has a flicker while it is on
