Relieved the pain immediately
I had a wond near my lips after removing wisdom tooth and it was swollen and really painful as I couldn't eat or talk. This relieved the pain 100%.

Type: Fast-acting oral pain relief gel Size: 5.3g tube Active Ingredient: Benzocaine 10% Use Case: Mouth ulcers, denture irritation, sore gums, toothache, festival fatigue, site stress 💥 Why It Deserves Big Compliments This gel is a proper pain killer for your mouth. With 10% benzocaine, it delivers strong numbing action—ideal for ulcers, sore gums, or denture rub. It kicks in fast and targets the pain directly, giving you cockpit-grade control when you need it most. It also contains eugenol, a dentist-trusted compound that helps soothe inflammation and promote healing1 . The gel moistens dry tissue and forms a protective layer, making it easier to eat, talk, or get through a shift without wincing. The fruity flavour is a bonus—no harsh chemical taste, just clean relief. ✅ Big Wins 10% benzocaine—strongest OTC oral anaesthetic available Fast action—numbs pain within minutes Eugenol support—soothes and protects irritated tissue Fruity flavour—pleasant, not overpowering Pocket-sized tube—easy to stash in kits or glove box Amazon rating: 4.6 stars from 5,000+ reviews Dentist-recommended for short-term relief ⚠️ Minor Trade-Offs Not for under 12s—adult use only Short duration—may need reapplying every few hours Can cause lightheadedness if overused—stick to 4x/day max Not a cure—temporary relief only, not a substitute for dental care May sting on open sores initially—subsides quickly 🧍♂️ Personal Verdict Used this during a festival weekend and post-site shift—numbed clean, tasted decent, and kept me talking. For around £4, it’s a proper oral care essential that adds fast relief and cockpit-grade control to your kit. If you need to silence mouth pain without the faff, this one’s a winner.

توقعت انه علاج يخفف القرحة مثل باقي الادوية المماثلة اتضح انه مجرد بنج موضعي لا اكثر لكنه قوي وسريع المفعول ( كبنج ) لا انصح به

Always worth having In the home. I’m always biting my mouth and causing mouth ulcers. This tastes pretty gross, but really helps when needed such as eating etc. works fast to numb the pain. A tube lasts forever too.

So I rarely write reviews, but I really wanted to give feedback on this item in the hope of helping someone in my situation. I currently am waiting for medication for a B12 and folate deficiency that came to light after a recent blood test. One of the more miserable side effects of this is chronic mouth ulcers, which I have now experienced twice in the space of about 6 weeks. The first time, I started with about 5 under the tongue, which then spread to my lips over a few days, leaving me with a total of 10 of the blasted buggers. It took me a full 10 days to recover from that. I used Oralmedic to get me through the final few days as I was so miserable with not being to eat or talk properly. This medicine was absolutely brilliant but an eye-watering £15 treatment for only two doses, which I was definitely not willing to pay again so soon after the first episode. I decided I needed a middleman that may not be as effective but would help me to cope. Happily, I came across this product which was a fraction of the price. This episode of ulcers was not as bad in the sense that I had about 6-7 in total, but only one of them under the tongue was a real nuisance. So I gave this medication a go. It took me a couple of goes to get the medication to work effectively. Apply the gel over the top of your index finger, and then apply on the sore. I kept my mouth open for a bit to dry it out. It stings a little but nothing like Oralmedic. Your mouth needs to feel tingly and numb (like when you go to the dentist), then it has been applied properly. I personally felt relief for a couple of hours, not fully, but enough to talk and eat a little more comfortably. I would couple this treatment with Ibuprofen etc and salt rinses, and avoid SLS toothpaste if you can. I'm over the worst of this episode now, so hopefully I won't need to buy this gel again after getting my meds. In conclusion, definitely a better option than Bonjela, but not as good as Oralmedic.
