Pucky, Prince of Bacon: A Breaking Cat News Adventure

Our whole family loves this series. The book sparked a great obsession that had both kids creating their own comics and films based on the characters. Funny and lovely and cute! We always pre-order the next installment now.

The watercolor artwork is absolutely beautiful, and the stories, based on the author's own cats, are so cute! This would be a great gift for any cat lover, regardless of age!

Love Georgia Dunn's work. Do not love Amazon's cheaping out on shipping care! two books and another item in a bubble mailer at holiday time is not good if no protection. Sigh... By the way this is a great book for a fan of cats. We adults like it too! Excellent art, story lines and the occasional knowing wink.

My 8 year old carries them around and reads them until they’re cat-eared! So funny and so cute!

I adore the BCN Comics. The story lines are funny and relatable, the cats’ personalities are distinct and loveable. I’m happy for my kids to read these and enjoy reading them together. I think we have 4-5 of these books now. Also, they make great birthday gifts for school classmates! We love them!

I love Georgia Dunn's wonderful world - she has a wonderful touch with watercolors, and tells great stories ... from the cats' point of view, of course. And this book has bonus coloring pages, too.All in all, "Pucky, Prince of Bacon" is another delightful book.

This is the best compilation yet. So many fond memories of past strips. I giggled my way through most of this book about the original three main characters with a couple of cameos of Tommy to keep every good cat up to date on the outside world.I have been reading the comic strip for a few years and enjoy it immensely! While the target audience appears to be children, the books are family friendly and adult cat owners will love to read them too. Each volume has an extra activity that is not available elsewhere. I will never pass up an opportunity to add these books to my library.

Cute and fun to read.

I don’t pretend to have the slightest bit of objectivity when it comes to Breaking Cat News: it is easily my favourite comic strip and I have bought and will buy anything Georgia Dunn decides to publish, the moment it is available. This is the sixth book compiling the BCN comic strips, and includes such wonderful bits as the moment when Puck discovers that the dreaded vacuum cleaner is - gasp! - also a Mom (to a dust buster) and Elvis’s bonding with the new Baby. Ms. Dunn bases her strip on her own family, including three cats (Lupin, Elvis and Puck - actually, there’s a fourth cat now, Goldie, but she doesn’t appear in this book) and imagines what kinds of events three indoor cats would find newsworthy if they had a cable news station. Puck is my favourite of the cats (shhh - don’t tell Elvis or Lupin!), so I’m especially happy with this book as it features him more than the others, but as I said, I will buy any BCN material I can get. Comes with several pages at the back with drawings of the various cats that your youngster (or yourself) can colour. Clearly, very highly recommended!

I love it! An amazing book, I love how Georgia Dunn has made some of the old comics a slightly bit different and added some more comics.

Great continuation of the Breaking Cat News world.
