Invaluable product for yard clean up
I don't write many reviews anymore but when I run across such an awesome product, I must brag on it. I've wanted these big garden scoops for years but struggled by using my fan rake to move the leaves and yard debris. This year was the year that made me yell uncle and break down and buy a pair. We have oak and sweet gum leaves enough to clog up Niagara Falls. After raking said leaves into many large piles, the Garden Grasp Leaf Scoops made short work of loading them into the wheel barrows and off to the compost. And if anyone has Sweet Gum trees then you'll know what I'm talking about when I moan about the plethora of gum balls they drop. Raking them wasn't so much the problem as was getting them transferred to the wheel barrows. Ah, such relief to scoop them up with the "magic hands" and throw them into the barrows. The teeth on the pick up edges enable us to get all the escapees captured and disposed of. Our dogs appreciate the absence of the hard spikey balls on their feet. Me too, as they can cause a foot to roll and down you go.So, I cannot say enough good things about this product which are as tough as nails and I look forward to getting many years of use from them.

go buy them for 1/5 the price at your local hardware store
So many different companies make these hand rakes now. I've owned a few in the past and they are amazing. I wouldnt even rake now if I didn't have these. I usually grab a pair when I'm at the local hardware store (Ace Hardware in this case) for $5... that's right, five dollars. I figured these would be even better, at $25 a set. They must be stronger, or ca pale of collecting more, or something.. but no, they are the exact same thing. The material doesn't seem all that much different. Both are strong and sturdy, both are easy to use, both are the same size albeit a slightly different shape. So while these are cool, and work well, I am returning them. How can I reason with myself to spend 5x the amount for the same product? I was going to give 4 stars because of this, but decided on 3 when I requested a return. I planned to drop off at a ups store and still have to pay 7 bucks to do so. $7 isn't a lot, but that isnt the point. I have to spend more to return these, than what I spent on the other pair. That's crazy.Anyway go buy them for 1/5 the price if you can at your local hardware store.

Be Like the Freddy Krueger of Gardening, but Without all the Murder
I mean, who can't think of a million uses for hand rakes?!? I wish I could run around all day scooping up everything from ice cream to babies to pizza with them, but I'm trying not to get arrested for shoplifting or baby-snatching, so I have only used them in the yard (so far!). In the yard, they are extremely handy for things I don't want my hands to have to do. Imagine a cross between Wolverine and a master gardener, and that's what you feel like when you are picking up a zillion pounds of leaves, weeds, and grass clippings with these monsters.Bonus use: I have loads of naughty chickens and ducks that go crazy when they get liberated from their 1 acre chicken run (as if that wasn't big enough, they want the entire forest, too). If they're being obstinate about going back inside at night, I use the Garden Grasps to scoop them right up and carry them home to safety.

Hulk Handsome, Must Smash Yard Work!
Absolutely love them!! They are a pretty vibrant green color, which makes yard work a little more fun. I've nicknamed them my Hulk Hands. Only complaint I have is its awkward for me personally to use them because my thumbs don't have a designated area to be. But other than that they are 100% worth the money!

Highly deep scoops that pick up a lot of leaves and debris in yard, very well made.
Best idea to pick up leaves and debris from the yard (after raking of course). These scoops are made in extra thick plastic and the handles are made to withstand heavy loads of multiple garbage in the yard. It was a good idea to buy these because the scoops are not flat and with them being curved you can pick up a lot of stuff with them as well. These are a lot better then using two rakes together to try to pick up leaves and stuff around the yard. I have many lawns to deal with and I can say it saves a lot of time and effort. I love these.

Works pretty good
I have two different brands and this one is built better. The hand holders are designed to be fairly comfortable and give good leverage. The downside is that there are no teeth to grab the leaves like my other pair. It works ok if the leaves are dry and 'fluffy' but if they are compressed and damp, I found it difficult to grab as much as I wanted.

Simple but so so helpful
I’ve tried so many different approaches to taking care of my leaves in the fall. What I realised was that the best approach is the simplest: a rake to gather the leaves and then using my hands (with gloves) to put them in a bag inside a garbage bin. This simple tool makes the latter part of the job far more efficient. I also use the scoops to push the leaves further down, compressing them and creating more space in the bag. Go get yourself a pair if you still have leaves...or for next fall.

Works but could be better
Scoop works well but hard on back bending over to scoop the ground. Much better if they had long handles to be like a super sized salad/leaf tong.Worked ok. Need to be used with gloves. Too heavy for me but ok for my husband. Bought lighter ones for me which work much better. Hard plastic didn't last very long. Cracked. Threw away.
