BENYAR Mens Automatic Mechanical Watches 45MM Skeleton Dress Watch

I bought this BENYAR watch as a gift and it exceeded my expectations. The design is very elegant and eye-catching, especially the skeleton style that shows the inner mechanism, giving it a modern and sophisticated look. The leather strap feels comfortable and well made, and the watch has a nice weight that makes it feel solid. It works perfectly, keeps accurate time, and the overall finish is much better than expected for the price. It looks more expensive than it actually is and is suitable for both everyday wear and special occasions.Excellent value for money. I would definitely recommend it.

I bought this because I wanted a mechanical skeleton watch to add to my collection. It was on sale for $32 and looked good, so I picked it up. It's become my workhorse watch in that time, and sees more use than my Citizens, Seikos, or Tags or Hublot. The crystal has a couple little dings at the top edge from when I was working under my car but is otherwise scratch-free. The black finish has worn down on the outer edge of the bezel and the edges of the case by the strap connector, which (imho) gives it a cool patina as it shows the copper underneath. Again, this became my workhorse and has been put through a lot more use than my dress watches have; if you use it as such, the finish will likely last many years longer.I do leathercrafting and had planned to make a custom strap right away, but the one that came with it seemed decent enough that I left it on. It's just about time to replace it. The leather is painted and highly treated which makes it durable, but it as the paint wears it looks more "worn out" than having a "patina." Pairing this with a custom strap, as other reviewers have, is a good move.I've gotten a lot of compliments for it in the last couple years, as people notice the mechanism moving inside. The color balance between gunmetal, chrome, and gold is great at this price point, and it manages to strike a perfect balance of subtle and flash. It's a watch that can look "tough" while still being sophisticated... Isn't that what we all want?If you're only going to have one or two watches that suit work, play, and formal events, this one is a great choice. I don't think you'll find much better for at least another two hundred bucks.

I'm about a week in with this watch and I have to say I love it. While the band does make noise against the lugs sometimes and is definitely of cheaper quality, I find it to be decently comfortable and well built. The dial is gorgeous, and you're not going to find many other skeletons at this price point. I'm excited to see how the movement performs after a while and how scratch / bump / life resistant the watch is, and I'll update this review if something changes. Until then, five stars.Update 4/14/26: The strap unfortunately broke at the buckle for this watch after some months of wear. As others are saying, it is recommended to get a band replacement with this watch. Down to 4 stars, but the watch itself still is scratchless and works great.

This is such a handsome watch. It is a nice compliment for your husband‘s watch collection. Just make sure you rotate it at least every eight hours to keep the time up. They fit in the quality are wonderful.

I purchased this watch as an experiment before buying a much more expensive "grail" watch that was the same shape and size. I wanted to make sure that I would like something this large before the purchase. After having this several months and wearing it when I am not comfortable with something more expensive for fear of damage... I have to say I am impressed for the money spent. The value is excellent. The strap is hard ugly plastic feeling but has held up very well. The watch itself is attractive and seems to be well made. By sight I thought the movement might be an NH35, but while it does hand wind, it does not hack. The main thing though... it is keeping very good time. I would call it a very good value for $50. A person could put a better strap on it and do a lot worse for a lot more money with some of the garbage I have seen available. If I run across someone at some point who really likes it I may give it away as I have done in the past. The difference this time is I will not feel like I gave away trash. I have purchased 2 Benyar watches since this one and I have had the same experience with those as well.

This was purchased awhile ago(like 9 months ago) as an anniversary gift for my husband. (I had meant to leave a review sooner but I forgot and Amazon just reminded me to do it..) He loved it so much and wore it everywhere... For about 2 weeks... And then, one day, he accidentally scraped against a wall (close quarters at work) and the watch got these deep gouges.. He decided he didn't want to damage it further because he loved it so much.. So he stopped wearing it and it is now a paperweight. To say I'm extremely disappointed in the quality of this is really an understatement just because of the sadness he had when he showed me the damage like it was his fault this was shoddy quality. I spent too much on this for the "glass" to be able to be gouged by an accidental wall scrape. I understand there are more expensive watches out there I could have purchased, as I was originally looking at a much more expensive brand, but I saw this one and knew he would love this as it's all around his style, but it's really ridiculous to me that the quality of this is just that low.I wouldn't buy this again. I don't recommend it to anyone and I'm just overall still mad about it even 9 months later.

I have had this watch for at least 3 years. I don't use it every day, maybe 1 or 2 times a week but it has maintained its new appearance and still working good. For the price point it really looks more high end, the quality is noticeable and looks really good

Nice watch for the money - it seems to be running well, and it is a good build, given it's not really all that water-resistant or shockproof, but it's heavy with a really great crystal; Just don't get it too wet or drop it.It doesn't have a date complication, which is a little bittersweet - it's such a PITA to change dates on my watches so I bought this one specifically coz it didn't have that feature, and now I miss it... I knocked it down a star NOT coz of this, but coz it's running a tad fast... Mine is running about a minute fast per two weeks but hey - I guess I can live with that.

This item is beautiful and amazing.Worked so well. It was a favorite Christmas gift for our teen, except suddenly the other day the pin completely fell out of the band and the watch fell right down to the ground and the glass and mechanisms broke. We want to buy another one for our teen’s birthday to replace it but would like a discount and a guarantee that the new one will not break the same way.

Ciao Gente!

Great mechanism, looks fantastic.Issue with the spring bar on the buckle, it was too loose or maybe damaged. The buckle slips off the spring bar when I wear it.The strap is stiff also so soften the strap by keeping the watch strapped when not using it. It will put less pressure on the spring bar and not damage it then.I bought a new spring bar set and used a 25mm one, it's an easy fix and works great now :)

Arrived perfect and on time. The watch is very nice.I'm impressed with its quality.Looks are top notch.Has been working perfectly & I find it easy to read the time.Mind u I normally use it during the day & not at night. That could be an issue. It does have some lum on the hands, but not the number markers.I did purchase it for work.Wanted a watch I wouldn't need to replace the battery.I work in construction. It's holding up well so far.Mind you it's winter & I'm wearing a lot of winter gear that has been covering it up very well. So it's been protected from the elements of a construction site. When spring arrives will see how it lasts.Water resistance is good.I have washed my hands numerous times and the watch has been fine & keeps on ticking. The strap has done well even after it's been washed. Some leather reacts to water. This one is pretty resistant to curling. It's thicker then any other watch strap I've ever had on any of my watches.Seemed weird at first , but I've gotten use to it.It's comfortable.I'm happy with my purchase.Money well spent. 👍$60 Canadian 🇨🇦 black Friday sale. Can't complain for an automatic watch,That's being tested to it limits. 5⭐️Also important to remember , if I do break it.It's my fault not the manufacturer's, it's not designed for wht I do for a living. It's designed for casual wear & not construction.None of the watches I've basically destroyed, are the manufacturer's fault.
