Q: I worry if this will kill birds if put by my bushes??

If the birds even come near it, they will be deterred by the scent. However, this dod NOTHING to repel the mice in and around my home.

Q: What is the stuffing inside Made of?

The pouches seem to have mix of different herbs and a very pleasant smell to them. The spray is very pleasant as well. The below is a clip from their web site. 8oz's of DOUBLE-POTENCY FORMULA is tough on mice. Most spray repellents use only peppermint at less than 1% concentration. Grandpa Gus’s use 7% Peppermint and Cinnamon to repel mice and stop them from chewing… Both our dog and my sons dog has not been temped to even chew these pouches they go to them and sniff and walk away. They claim on the web site https://www.grandpagus.com/ that they are pet friendly. Yet the product keep mice away for sure in my case no sign as yet in my 5th wheel, shop or house.

I have 3 cats and it isn't an issue with mine because I use it in my sweater drawers and closet shelves. Also I use the spray in the dresser drawers to keep mice from chewing my towels for guests that visit. In the closet everything is too high for them and I keep the doors closed.
