What are the handles on this knife set made from?

Unfortunately I can't tell you b/c I purchased these for a raffle/basket and never handled the knives themselves. So sorry!

can I use it to cut through bone?

Hi Neta, Its Not recommended, ceramic knives can't be used to cut through bone. If you will use them for boning ot carving it could crack.

Has anyone used a vegetable peeler on sweet potatoes

You can use it on sweet potatoes Unhesitatingly, Its has strong and sharp blade

Are the handles of the knife set dishwasher safe? I’ve had others melt, even in the top rack.

Hi, Yes, our ceramic knife handles are dishwasher safe and you can feel free to get them into your dishwasher. Enjoy!
