High quality and reasonably priced. I bought this specific brand because I saw that my doctor had a bottle in his office at the clinic.

I have been using prescription Omega 3's for the past few years to control my triglycerides because they were out of control. The first prescription was for Lovaza, which contains a mix of EPA and DHA. It worked okay but DHA can raise your cholesterol level so I had to start taking atorvastatin in addition to the Lovaza. My doctor switched me to a newer brand (Vascepa) of Omega 3's that was pure EPA. This worked very well to control my triglycerides without raising my cholesterol. However, it is very expensive and I no longer have prescription drug coverage. So, I have been searching and searching for an affordable substitute since I have to take 4 Grams a day! I was extremely happy to find the Pure Essentials Ultra EPA, it is the closest thing to the Vascepa that I have been able to find and most importantly, can afford to buy. I have only been taking it for a few weeks but so far everything seems good. They are small so they are easy to swallow and I haven't gotten any nasty fish burps. I will update this once I have been taking it for a few months and get my triglycerides checked again.

I suffer from Intractable Pain Disease and this is one of the best things my pain specialist recommended! There is no taste to the gel caps, they are easy to swallow.. and that was one of the most important things I was looking for in a HIGH EPA Omega-3. This brand is exceptional. I also take Vitamin D-3, and Melatonin. The combination of the three, working together is amazing! My pain level is MUCH more tolerable, my MOOD is greatly improved, I sleep better and wake up refreshed. I am extremely happy with this Pure & Essential Ultra Pure EPA Omega-3 Concentrate and will continue buying it. I highly recommend it!!! I hope this was helpful.

Aside from the price which is higher than other fish oils, I believe this EPA pill works better for me than a combination pill, based on a liberal interpretation of some research reports and personal experience.

Can’t smell it can’t taste it. The pill is a little hard to swallow but I learned to bit it just a little to smash it down then swish it around in my mouth with water so it goes down really easy. It’s high quality or so it says it is I have to trust the certs

I’ve tried to order this product twice. I figured the first time was a weird one-off but I liked that it was pure EPA for a good price so I tried again. Not a good choice. Both times the lid was glued on and I couldn’t open either bottle, even with pliers. I even took it to work and no one could open it there and we’re all in our 30s and strong people. Waste of money as I can’t return it.

After reading reviews about how difficult the product was to open, I hesitated to order it however when it arrived the expiration date is 2025 (plenty of time to finish the bottle) and the top had a thin cellophane cover over the cap and beneath the easy to untwist cap there was another sealed layer, also easy to remove. I have not experienced fishy burps or any bad taste, just a slight pleasant lemon flavor. Apparently a great product, the only reason for 3 not 5 stares for value is this can be expensive in the long term if replacing an RX statin.
