I wish I had returned this set when I still could. The plastic is not the right kind to do the job, its a much harder consistency and as such, kind of mars the copper foil if you're not super careful. I'm back to using my Sharpie barrel. Also, there's a feature of the fid tool that was eliminated, the notch, and it made me wonder if this is a cheap knock-off of these specialty tools for stained glass work.PS: I have since heard an artist refer to this harder plastic issue and she confirms it was a change made by the manufacturer. Why they would make a change that renders this specialty tool pretty much useless, after gaining widespread recognition by artisans in the craft, boggles the mind. It makes no sense unless they are trying to ruin their own success.

very handy tools.
The straight flat, looks like a tire iron, is about the handiest tool in my assortment. I use it mostly for smoothing and rolling over the foil on the edges of the glass. It will also do a good job of opening access to lead or zinc pieces.

Love these
These work well. A little thicker and longer than my off white fid. The curved one is GREAT for edges!

Poor quality
They are not very finely edged, so not good for prying anything with tight seams. I'm sure they'll get used for something at some point. Its too bad as I like the look for the shape.
