I actually own 3 of these. All 3 are the same. I keep putting the strip tube ruler in with whatever project I am using it for and if I do not get back to that same project...I put the project aside and do a couple of other projects and then when I am ready to use i again...I have put it away. So the search used to go on.Easier to buy another one. However, this time...I have put up template and ruler hangers on the wall and I have it hanging there. I used Orange Washi Tape to mark it and now it is easy for me to find.I love this thing. It quickly cuts your squares and they are accurate at the the same time. Highly recommended.

This ruler makes making half square triangles so easy and precise! No squaring up is necessary! I would highly recommend this ruler.

For quilting

I purchased this ruler because I saw it demonstrated on YouTube. I always struggle for perfect HSTs and wanted a way to do a better job with my HST trimming process. This ruler is an initial HST cut AND also the trimming. That means your first cut is the last trim. And yes, the HSTs are spot-on accurate. You can also use it as a trimming tool, which I have also done but the real beauty is that it saves that second trimming process. If you have bunches of HSTs and want them perfect, this is your ruler. The cutting chart that comes with this ruler is the true and correct cut size for your fabric.
