## Questions & Answers

**Q: Will this match the blueing of a mini 14 rifle?**
A: The finish builds up with every pass. Think of it like gentle, layered darkening. It isn't a perfect match--nothing short of complete re bluing will do that. This gets rid of bright areas of wear and it's not like paint at all.

**Q: How does this work on parkerized finishes?**
A: not very well....is streaked

**Q: Does it work for glock gen 4 made in USA?**
A: Not so sure. The Glock is not blued, but has a different metal finish, Tenefer, or something like that. If that's worn thru to white metal already, then the pen should work.

**Q: dose it work on black oxide**
A: Bluing is black oxiding, same thing

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It works!
*by B***N on September 1, 2026*

Had a bad scratch on an old pew pew. Cleaned with acetone. Applied with tip no pressing down. It’s not a paint pen! Excellent results. After waiting a few minutes wiped down and applied quality pew pew oil. Couldn’t see scratches anymore. Only apply to carbon steel. 10/10 recommendation.
