Contains decal for 6 versions, 2 gluable rubber tracks (T-136 Chevron & NATO NM-116). The M-109 self-propelled artillery was developed on the basis of a precise request of the US army: to have a heavy howitzer with great mobility on any type of terrain capable of replacing the dated M-44. The first M-109s came into service in the early 1960s and immediately proved the validity of the project. The M-109 was also constantly improved to update it to the evolution of operational needs. The main 155 mm armament was also improved with the adoption, starting with the A1 version, of the long-barrel M185 cannon characterized by a significantly increased range of action. The next version A2 incorporated further improvements on weapon, targeting, ammunition and target acquisition systems. It was produced in a large number of specimens equipping the American armed forces and the main Allied Countries of N.A.T.O. Safety Warning For adult collectors over the age of 14 Review: Really good kit for the price - Really happy with this kit overall and a very pleasant build. I have had other kits that have had issues with sprue mould leaks which made cleaning the parts up very time consuming but I didn't have any issues with this with the Italeri kit, all seems to have been very well moulded and good equipment. The parts were very well and and all fit together with very minimal adjustments being needed, the plastic was easy to paint and wasn't too slick like some models that causes primer/paint to bead up on the surface. As this is a 1:35 scale model it has a nice amount of details on it. This one was enjoyable to build and looks really good as a finished project. I think the price is really good for what you get, I know full well that in my local hobby shop that this model would be somewhere around the £40 mark so getting this for a bit over £26 is very good value to me. Overall I would recommend this model for anyone looking for a Paladin A2/AS/G model, really nice to build and paint.
