AlbaChem® PSR II Powdered Dry Cleaning Fluid

This stuff is literal magic. I have a 12 year-old son and a messy eater of a husband and this takes stains (especially food) right out. You spray it on, let it sit for a while, depending on the stain (I’ve done 10 minutes and I’ve also done a day) and it turns into a powder and you can either just shake it off or brush it and throw it in the wash and it comes right out. It’s a bit pricey, but it’s 100% worth the price. It’s very easy to use because you just spray a tiny bit on and the can is pretty big so I’m hoping it lasts a while. Doesn’t have a harsh scent either. I’ve used home remedies for stains that work, but ain’t nobody got time for that. This saves time. Do yourself a favor and just get it.

I originally hesitated to buy this product because it seems so expensive… I was wrong. The cost of only one of the items that I’ve saved more than makes up for the price of the can. I decided to document the process so others can see that it actually works. Here are 2 of my favorite hoodies, there is a series of grease stains down the front that I could not get out with other means. I applied the spray as directed, and waited for it to dry. It does have a strong scent at first, but that went away as the spray dried. After it was dry, I brushed off the white powder. I did also use my husband’s air compressor to get as much off as I could. You can see that all but one spot were removed with just one treatment. I treated again and it came out. The PSR II does leave a residue on the fabric after treating that I didn’t like, so I washed the sweatshirts before wearing. The final photo shows the cleaned items, with no noticeable spots anymore. I am impressed. I really wish I had gotten this sooner, as I’ve thrown away too many nice shirts that I probably could’ve saved.

Great product. As good or better than K2 R. Like K2R does not remove all stains, but is excellent for removing oil grease before treating with other stain removers. Also less expensive per volume and does not have that strong perfumey smell.

This took out blue cheese stain on a grey pin stripped suit pant. It took multiple applications but the can is ample. I had to sue a stiff bristle tooth brush to work it out. Careful since that can create wear on the fabric. On one occasion it did leave a ring. I may have held it too close or didn't shake it enough. That only occurred once. If you have a black fabric this powder residue might be an issue. On the grey with white pinstripe it was okay. I took the vacuum and vaccumed it off after a while.

The container was previously used and less then half full. With the expensive price that’s not okay. Would not purchase from seller again.

Follow the directions on the can and it works perfectly. The only thing I did a little differently is after it dried into white powder (which only takes a few minutes) is I used an air gun to blow it off instead of using a brush. But I’m sure a brush works fine too. Fast, easy. Worth it $$ because these grease stains are annoying. Finally found this….an easy fix!

I used this for my sofa but didn’t notice a difference however when I used it on a couple of black spots on my carpet it worked well.

The spray leaks all over the hand when using. I contacted the seller who refused to refund me.
