The rods seem to be of good quality. However, the anchors provided could not hold the screw in them under the weight of the rod in the bracket. Had to replace those anchors with ones from Ikea.

Heavy duty excellent curtain rod. For very long curtain runs this is the best rod out for the money spent. This length consists of three rods, with the middle one fitting inside the other two. The middle rod is threaded on both sides so that it can be used for a shorter run with only two of the rods. The rods have a great silver finish and the fennel on each end add a very nice look to the curtains. The rods come with three heavy duty brackets to attach to the wall and they have the same silver finish. This was money well spent.

These are great, unobtrusive, black curtain rods. We moved a year ago, and I have 3 in the new house currently, and 2 more in my cart. If you're like me, and prefer simple, fade-into-the-background type drapery treatments, you won't be disappointed. The black is a matte finish, the finials are plastic but perfect as far as girth goes. They don't look too chunky and don't stick out too far. No one would be able to tell they aren't metal unless they touch them. If your drapes are super heavy, I'm not convinced these will hold them. I am using a thicker, lined, linen curtain and they are perfect for that. I did not have any trouble with any of the hardware at all (nothing arrived missing or broken, and nothing broke or bent during installation). A favorite designer said something like 'curtain rods are the eyeliner of a room'. These are definitely that, in an understated, classy way.
