Work great if you have a smooth surface
As they are suction cups they do not work at all on textured walls or doors. Make sure you have a place for them

These things are amazing. A single hook can easily hold two heavy winter robes, and two towels. We’ve had them 5 months on glossy porcelain wall tiles and so far no signs they will ever fail. They stick like glue to anything smooth (glass, glossy tile, anything with absolutely no texture). I’ve seen similar hooks that use a suction cup with a clasp but this is not a suction cup, more of a sticky rubber rubber pad that uses the clasp to really lock it down. The negative reviews appear to be people trying to stick them to textured or even slightly textured surfaces (like melamine). If it’s not perfectly smooth and flat (like glass) it probably won’t last because the texture will not allow for a perfect seal.
