Yaesu FT-857 & FT-857D Mini-Manual by Nifty Accessories

It is such a pleasure to be able to go right to the instructions for what you want to do with your rig - especially, with rigs that don't get constant use. Multi-function buttons are not intuitive.

Nifty Mini-ManualYaesu FT-857 & FT-857DThe Nifty Mini-Manuals looked promising and appeared to have condensed the entire user manual into a small and concise format for easy reference use. However, the problem is the font size of the print on this manual - too small to be useful. While legible, it is hard to read and the manual for the Yaesu FT-857 is actually printed using Comic San Serif 6 size font! The thin letters along with small font size and makes the manual nearly useless!!! I have good vision and do not need reading glasses but looking at the manual and how difficult it is to read the information, this manual is being returned back to Amazon. This is not worth the money at any price!!! All prior reviews posted for this product without details basically mean nothing.

Print too small and not sharp

Great little manual. Compared to the supplied user manual, this is a dream. When us just need to quickly find an answer on how to program your radio its perfect.

Good to have. Quick reference with out digging thru the owners manual.
