Q: Is this the same as the miracle ball?

I have not compared against the miracle ball, however, at first glance it would appear they are similar and used for similar purposes. For your reference the Ergonomic Innovations massage balls are 100% rubber construction and measure 2.5" in height. They are firm and can be used to release muscle knots, trigger point therapy and a wide variety of exercise aids - some of which are shown in the listing images.

Q: Are these air filled or solid?

The balls are made of firm rubber construction, no air.

Q: Can you use these for the psoas?

Yes you can, but they won’t get deep into the psoas because they are the same size as a tennis ball. I use golf balls taped together to form a triangle for my psoas.

Great question. Whilst I cannot comment officially on the Franklin balls I can make a desktop comparison to help with your purchasing decision. The Ergonomic Innovations massage balls are made of 100% rubber construction and measure 2.5" in diameter. The Franklin balls come in different shapes, sizes and construction. The variation of Franklin balls that would be closest in comparison to the Ergonomic Innovations balls are those that are also rubber in construction, although they are larger at approximately 3.94" in diameter.
