1PC AC Motor Vertical Micro Wind Hydraulic Turbines Power Generator Alternato

I'm building a wind tunnel to demonstrate things to students... I thought this would be an interesting addition. I thought it would generate at a much lower level, but I needed to set my machine to full speed before this would turn. When it did, the output was acceptable for a demonstration, but other than running the LED, not very useful. The output is an AC output interestingly enough... the LED can be inserted in either direction with a pulsed output. I suppose the pulsed nature would allow you to use a 4N35 optoisolator and a resistor to get a pulse train to read RPM... but you probably would be better off getting one with blades/turbine much larger than the motor... it is very inefficient.
