Does this work with car seat travel bags?

You thread this travel belt through the belt path of your car seat. If your car seat was zipped up in a travel bag then your access to the belt path inside the car seat would be blocked. So unless your car seat travel bag has TWO holes in it that would allow you to pass the belt through, then it would not work.

What size luggae would you recommend be used with the belt?

I'm seeing conflicting info. this listing says it can be used with a child inside, but reviews are saying the instructions say otherwise?

Once you get it, the instructions do say not to use it with the child in the seat. There are seat pulling options that allow a cold to be seated while pulling, but this is not one of them.
