A lot of people are forgetting that this is a microfiber insert/comforter and not a down insert/comforter. The difference really is night and day in the fluffiness. I don't care how many times you wash it or how long you leave it out to, "fluff up." It's just not going to get to the stage you want it to. Also, the pictures they show to advertise are just that, advertising. This is a great microfiber comforter, especially to use as a filler for a duvet cover. It's lightweight but will still keep you warm. Not sweating though so you can still use in the summer months as well. The buttons on the corners make it perfect to put inside a duvet and attach it too. Honestly, if you have more than one duvet you need an insert for. Walk don't run to buy this. (I'm taking only 1 star off because of the horrid smell. I understand factory smells and textile smells but this is gross.)

I have purchased 2 of these now! The first was for my bed a few years ago! My daughter loves mine so I purchased her one as well and it was the same great quality! I may buy me another one for my bed! It's so soft and breathable! Love the feeling of sleeping in a cloud!

I purchased this item years ago to fill my duvet cover. Prior to purchase I had never owned a duvet bedspread before and did research, which said that you should buy one size up from your duvet cover to make it look fuller when inserted. I purchased a queen size duvet cover, and a king size comforter and love this product. It’s not only soft and made my duvet look full but lasted years and made me a repeat customer!

This is a very good selection for a warm nights sleep in a cool room. Not too hot. Light as a feather. None of that heavy weight of winter blankets. If really cold you might want one with more fill. But this one is perfect in a normally “cool” modern bedroom.
