Love them
Love these little sensors. This is the sixth one I’ve bought so far. I’m using these in Home Assistant and it was super easy to pair and put to work. I do wish that they had “normal” batteries that I could pick up from the local store but I also haven’t needed to replace them yet either. I just used an automation to tell me when the battery hits 30% so I have time to order some. The polling/refresh rate isn’t the fastest but my applications don’t need it to be.

Absolute trash
Everything about this is trash, I will bet money that on these YouTube content creators are getting good money to say good things about aqara. I picked up an M3 hub and was excited to add Aqara into my smart home. So I bought 4 motion sensors, 3 presence sensors and 2 door and window contact sensors. The only thing working the way it should is the door and window contact sensors. Everything is straight trash. have moved both the motion and presence sensors all around to try and fix the issue nothing has worked always the same problem. The motion sensors half the time don't pick up motion and the presence sensors will pick motion up and stay detected for hours. There is absolutely nothing to cause false motion either so that wasn't the problem. I have thrown everything aqara in the trash. I wish i could give less than a one star. I do not recommend at all!.

Perfect for home assistant
These Aqara motion sensors work great with my home assistant zigbee dongle to control my closet lights and also the lights in my stairwell. I would buy these again if I needed simple easy to use motion sensors

May need fresh batteries
Not a bad sensor, but have some cr2450 batteries on hand(2). Mine arrived DOA with dead batteries. Remember it. is Zigbee so you need the Aqara M3 hub also....
