This is a good quality grill decoration. The inside of my grill isn't accessible by just opening the hood, so I turned the operation of detaching the grill over to my son-in-law who, not surprisingly, had a special tool that made it easy. I would have probably used a screwdriver or pliers and broken the attachment. After that, it was easy to get the badge on nice and tight. I don't remember if there were lock nuts that came with the badge or if my son-in-law produced a couple from one of the many little boxes of stuff he has, but, either way, I recommend lock nuts.

Just what I needed. However my grill is difficult so I drilled a hole screwed in and used industrial glue also. So far so good!

The badge itself looks great, but the bolt that came with it was too long so I used a dremel to cut it down. Had to take off the chrome trim as well as the grill to mount, but I’m happy with the way it turned out. Didn’t take too long to put on. I have a 2013 R56S.

I have a 2011 Mini Cooper S and it fit fairly well. My only negative is the bracket that came with it should definitely be black. I installed it and you could see the metal through the grill. Took it off and painted it black and now it’s perfect. Due to the screw being very long it was a slight challenge to get it where I wanted it but it’s in there now and it looks great! It’s a decent quality too!

Like the quality and value of the product. As far as installing on my 09 R55, getting the grill off was a little challenging. (Note) The supplied threaded rod is too long and will need to be cut down to size. And I recommend a locking nut. Happy trails!
