I purchased this item to use for a Galaxy III that was not charging using ANY Cords.My phone had been malfunctioning (Erratic Charging Port Contact) it occurred with this cord also, so I sent my phone Back under warranty it was replaced with a NEW phone free of charge.Anyway, back to the cord, delivery (By USPS) was one day after the estimated delivery date range.The item was as described, it appeared rugged. And IS rugged, I went to sleep with it plugged into my phone alongside me and must've lay on my phone which bent the Micro USB end of the cord end, causing the cord to not snap securely into my Galaxy III.After about a month, I decided to bend the tip back into the original position (I hesitated thinking it would break) and guess what? It DID NOT break. Very Happy with this product 'Update: 04/02/2015, the tiny raised surfaces on the Micro USB end of the cable no longer snap into the device, causing the cable to fall out of the device very easily, rendering the Cable Useless, Contacting Seller regarding 5 year warranty.

I purchased this cable accidentally thinking it was an Apple Lightning version. That being said, what a stroke of good luck it was to buy this cable! I cannot believe how durable this cable has been. I keep it at my office and use it to charge my compatible devices. EVERY time I travel I bring this cable with me and it's never once let me down. I HATE cheap cables that cannot stand up to the same demands as modern electronics. This cable is strong, reliable, and seemingly bullet proof. I've purchased a matching Lightning cable and it's my bed side standard. The 6 ft cord length is especially handy for charging while using a device. If you're looking for a resilient cable that's got length to boot, this is it.

I was really expecting this to last! But, it did well no longer or less than my normal cables. It is a great length though, and easier to move around and wrap up for travel. but in all, it only lasted a few months before I noticed a short in it of sorts where it just wont charge unless wiggled just right. I did get a few months of good use out of it though, I travel a lot and was really hoping for a good sturdy cable, which this one sorta let me down. I don't mistreat my wires, and take care to wrap them properly and keep them secure.

So I really don't like giving one star ratings cause I'm sure this product works great for the correct devices. The one in the first picture (left picture with case) is what we received and that is not what is displayed in the picture here on this site. Yes it says Micro USB, but it's for fire/blackberry devices. My wife and I ran into this issue at a local store here recently too. The second picture ( right one is a micro usb ) is the correct one that we did find. When we did a search here for this cable this is the link that came up with it and the picture matched the one on the right which we had recently purchased from a local store.They are refunding our money which I'm grateful for, but this is not what is expected when your looking up a product. Sucks when you purchase 3 of them for a great price and it's not the correct item and you really need something to get some of your devices charging. Oh well. Just make sure this is what you want. Cause who knows what you will get!

Like so many other people that bought this item, I thought I was going to get a long lasting, durable charging cord. I have bought so many low cost cords that eventually stop working, so I thought this was going to be it. Finally a long lasting cord. I think I bought 5 or 6 for various cars and rooms in the house. Out of those only one has held up for a longer than average time. The other ones have started to lose the contact at the mini connection. It feels relatively tight when I put it in, but it doesn't make the proper contact to show it is charging. Even when the phone is just sitting there plugged without being used, it will go in and out of contact and the phone makes that charging sound.It's disappointing. Now I'm on the hunt for a real durable one..

The only cable I have bought that is not from my phone's manufacturer that has worked in the long term. No breaking has happened at the joint where it gets plugged in. Finally someone made one with that point reinforced really well. I don't know why it has taken so many years for a company to make such a durable cable, but I'm glad they did. Second one I have bought - one for desk, one for the car. Highly recommend.

Finally a cord I didn't have to replace in a month!! The only problem I found was that the small end that goes into the phone fits slightly looser than any other charger I have so you have to be careful when moving it around.

Ok so I purchased 2 of these 3 months ago I'm tough on everything being a contractor... I've gone through countless charging cords these work as well as the day I bought them. And to you people complaining... Its got a 5 year warranty call them up if it's defective and get a new one. $12 for the last cord ya have to pay for for 5 years quit your whinning!

Garbage! This was a fairly new replacement for the original cord/charging block that worked awesome, until the cord got wrecked. The replacement cord didn't work, almost from the get go so I assumed, the charging block died. However, I just discovered that it was the replacement cord that doesn't work; the charging block is fine.

Great cable quality.
