Superb book, full of new information
A sober and detailed look at Pakistan's nuclear weapon's program from inception. The author seems to have interviewed many of the key and largely unknown participants and relies on a lot of documentation to make his case on how rivalries, competing interests and other factors contributed to what was both a national success and let to disgraceful revelations around A.Q. Khan's conduct with other nations. Reveals the issues that helped result in this, and dispels many illusions and assumptions about where and how Pakistan acquired technology or built things themselves. Well-written and detailed.

Most comprehensive history of Pakistan's nuclear program
This is the most comprehensive history of Pakistan's nuclear program and all the key players from political to scientific and everyone in the middle including the military. No other such work has been produced in the past. So far everyone had heard pieces of what happened since Bhutto initiated the program, Mansoor has put everything in a timeline and perspective.
