We got this for use with body paint but we did not realise just how large each piece is.This arrives in a small tub (about the size of a 10p coin) so there's really not much inside the container. Thr pieces are also quite large so unless you want a very sparse effect, or shiny scales i would recommend using it with a finer size. You could also use it in cards and generally other decorative situations where it may make a mess but you won't have to worry much about plastic polution as this is listed as bio degradable.This id listed as biodegradeable, vegan and cruelty free but there are no details of what it is actually made from which aleays makes me cautious.The glitter itself is very shiny and sparkly and catches the light very well. It does look pretty. It sticks well with body paint or glitter sprays and wipes off just as easily.At £5.10 (at time of review) this is not cheap for such a small tub. But if you do want biodegradable /vegan/cruelty free you do have to pay a premium.Good quality.

We try not to use glitter too often in the house as you will be cleaning it up for weeks afterwards. This pack of glitter is aimed for a variety of activities, but we will use it for crafts, not body painting. It is perfect for this but also for decent crafts and not just the kid’s playtime. The glitter itself is bigger than you will normally find for kids crafts so shows better and goes further.There is a nice colour but the packaging does mean that pouring it out and putting it back in is tricky. If you have something to put the glitter in that acts as shaker will make less mess. It is very nice glitter that works at home or in a class or group. You can use a little of this glitter on a card or piece of artwork and it really pops.

I like this glitter for two reasons:Its chunky and doesnt get everywhere it's not suppose to such as is the case with traditional glitter;It quickly adds detail to even the simplest body paint designs with very minimal use, which means that this little tub will last me a long time.The pieces are hexagonal in shape and about the size of a peppercorn. The glitter is not sticky, it does require you apply directly to either body paint, body glue or liquid latex. I just use a dry paint brush to catch a few in the bristles and then gently dab them to precise areas.The tub is about the size of my powder eye shadow containers.5 stars

This is a nice chunky silver glitter. If you're using it on your face/body I think how well it stays on depends what glitter fix you use to attach it. I found it stayed well on my face using Stargazer glitter fix gel (though there are plenty of other options). It only came off when I accidentally scratched my face and physically removed a few pieces by accident.It looks best when paired with some other colours of finer glitter, for variety. I'm pleased that it's eco friendly, and can definitely recommend it. There is a really good quantity for the price. Will last me for many years.

I ordered two varieties of these so I can amalgamate them to create a glitz and glam effect for my daughter's party. I have never used these types of product before and just need to get the fixing glue next.I haven't got sensitive skin and think we will all be making our faces up at my house, so my daughter who is the expert at Fancy Dress will probably apply this for us. She has used this sort of thing before.I am very pleased with the colours I chose. I ordered a fine and a slightly chunkier one to add texture.
