This product is German Language only, cannot change to any other language, time zone and currency also everywhere but the UK. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Arrived is German version cannot select English UK during setup.... useless to most. Avoid & always always read EVERYTHING! Returned for full refund. Why sell Deutsch version to UK market????

This the GERMAN edition. But it doesn't say that anywhere in the description.Probably great if you're German. Who knows. Im not and had to send it back

Windows 10 was hard to use at first but we got there in the end. It had so many features to switch off in order to get it the way you wanted it and I had to make notes about all of them to ensure a good user experience.But with windows 11 there are loads of things to slow down your productivity and kill the usabiltiy of the OS. There is also the usual obsession with minimalism which slows users down and attempts to oversimplify everything.Things I don't like:Taskbar icons do not have the option for labels - they are icons only. This means you have to somehow learn all the differences between the pictures and if there are several similar ones you are totally stuck clicking on the wrong thing all the time.Context menu is annoying. They have now given us a few common options and a more button. So now you have to go to this button in order to get to the context menu options for the applications you've installed.Startup apps removed. Windows 10 was super slow until you turned off startup apps, then it went super fast. Now they've removed it. Windows 11 runs faster but not as fast as Windows 10 with startup apps switched off.Copying Apple in having the Start menu in the centre of the taskbar. After 30 years this is impossible to get used to. Fortunately you can align it back to the left, but for how long? They always try to remove everything we need.

Unfortunately all instructions are in German it has a problem with the product key and has wiped out my windows 10 leaving me with no computer

There are four windows 11 PC's in this house. Three are relatively cheap, low spec, and are only used for browsing. It just about works ok on two of themThe third, which seemingly appears to be generally the same as the others, 8gb ram, hdd, mid spec chip, no apps installed, just the basic things like the standard windows apps, has something called 100% disk usage. Research this thoroughly before purchasing Windows 11. That laptop is basically a paperweight. PC's from the 90's operate faster than this thing.Researching the issue shows it to be widespread, and that windows support is probably the most useless support ever. Either they don't listen, don't understand, or once they've gone through their checklist of standard responses, i've seen them say something like "hopefully someone else knows the solution" and just stop responding. This is Microsoft themselves saying this... for the record, i've closed down apps, services, changed start up programs, amended the registry, started trouble shooters, downloaded apps to try and fix it, and a multitude of other repairs and attempts, and nothing is working. It is definitely something to do with windows, potentially downloading update issues, but there are so many issues linked to this 100% disk usage. Few people appear to have ever fixed this, and it appears to be down to random luck, than an actual solution.A note about MS support. I have contacted them about the fourth PC. A very up to date, super fast laptop, that is actually very good. I contacted MS support chat, they linked into my laptop, told me what they were doing, and i trusted them...... The agent basically deleted the whole thing in an attempt to reinstall windows, because one app wasn't working as it should. The days it took me to set up, had to be repeated. The subsequent complaint i made, ended up with MS support trying to call me after midnight, local time (!!), and the email i sent them has never been responded to. They are beyond useless and ignorant. If you are coming from Apple support, just go back. The *apple tax* is worth it in this case.Going back to the fourth laptop. The mega fast really new one. If you want one for photography.... don't. RAW photos taken in portrait mode get changed to landscape, with no way to reorientate. I have researched this, and eventually found an MS support thread where the agent said she had the same problem. I left a reply and some questions.... no response...Windows photos will also apply an edit to ALL RAW photos, whether you like it or not. If you open up windows, it will give you the dates of the photos, as some dates nowhere related to the dates you know you took those photos. Years out of date. I'm still baffled how someone at Microsoft made something which is so flawed on so many levels, and they want people to create on these machines?!To summarise. If you see a windows laptop you like, research it. A lot. don't just check the star reviews on the buyer website. Start with "(enter laptop name) issues". If you get an issue out of the box, send it back. Asap. Don't waste time with support, don't hope for a solution in an update. Microsoft and windows really are a mess when it goes wrong, and i'm pretty sure they don't care

Ik heb Windows geïnstalleerd en werk goed , jammer was in duits , ik heb alles in Nederland gezet . verder werkt vlot .

This copy of windows is OEM not the retail version nothing in the description states this however due to the timing I couldn't return it as my PC build is on a time limit

A la hora de intentar activar la clave aparece como invalida, todo el sistema viene en inglés y hasta muy a posteriori no deja cambiar el idioma.Tras contactar con el soporte de Microsoft me indican lo siguiente:Se verifica la clave de producto en servidor de activaciones Microsoft, confirmando que es una licencia de: Windows MSDN (producto exclusivo para desarrolladores de software y estudiantes) la cual, solo puede ser activada y usada bajo un contrato de tipo desarrollador o estudiantil como beneficio para las personas involucradas.Tras varios días peleándome con Microsoft y Amazon he conseguido que me devuelvan el dinero, denunciado a Amazon y a consumo.Una ruina de vendedor.

Una vez instalado, pude Cambiar a español, Tras la instalación del correspondiente paquete
