Great all around kitchen knife, If I had to own just one, this would be it
This is an excellent all purpose utility knife, suitable for almost any purpose. Size, shape, sharpness, all near perfect. Covers 90% of my needs with meat, fish, salads....Easy to sharpen. Very durable, this is my second one, the first one was used for about 9 years until got damaged. In short, Arcos make a great knife for a very affordable price.

Perfect slices!
Another reviewer had mentioned that he had achieved consistent 1 cm slices with this bread knife. I also achieved very thin slices with this knife, making perfect crostini a breeze. This size knife is best for small to medium loaves of bread, and it is a pleasure to use. I have always liked Arcos knives. They are sharp tools which handle so precisely, and they are very economical!

Sharp
The knife is well made and sharp. Lightweight, comfortable handle. A great value for the price.

Great for smoked salmon
Perfect so far. Able to get almost see-through slices of smoked salmon, which is what I purchased it for. The edge is quite sharp out of the box, but having only used it once, I cannot speak to the durability, or edge retention. Grip is comfortable length exactly right.

4" Paring Knife - Thin Blade
I have mostly Henckels knives and was looking for a 4" paring knife for a lower cost. This one looks good, but the blade is noticeably thinner and has more flexibility than higher end knives. It came very sharp and seems like it will hold an edge well. The top of the handle is well contoured to the tang, but the bottom side is not a good. A bit more radius on the handle edges would be nicer.

Do Not Buy
This knife does not cut straight! I would return it, but it is not returnable. It is worth zero stars. Buyer Beware!!

Perfect(ish)
It's similar in design to a model no longer made by that famous W brand. I like handles which are rounded top & bottom for comfort, but flat on the sides for better control and feel of angle. Also not too thick. It's a perfect paring knife for light use, and does not attempt to double as a mini chef's knife (I like those too, but if you are going to have multiple knives you don't need each one to be 2 things). The factory sharpening job had a small one-sided burr, but the angle was OK do it touched up easily enough.
