My son is a serious jazz drummer, so his standards are really high. But the price of this Starfavor cymbal stand is extremely competitive. In sum, you get a solid, heavy (so it won't slide), rubber-footed cymbal stand that can be hammered (with drum sticks) and stay totally still. Very, very high quality. And after shopping around for larger-brand names that are sold at more than 2 times the price, this stand is well-made and unexpectedly versatile, and easily adjustable to suit your (and your drum set's) geometry. Highly recommend.

I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one. This is a solid stand easily handling my big heavy ride cymbal.

Bought this stand kinda on a whim, (Amazon target ad), while looking for drum parts, as I wanted another cymbal stand for my practice kit. Great value for price. Materials, finish and workmanship are very good, and no gaudy logo making it look like the odd duck. Solid, stabile and easy to set up. Nice extras are the memory lock, and that the boom can store inside the tubing and function cleanly as a straight stand, adding to its value. Existing stands are Pearl, and are solid as well, if not as pretty. Then again, it hasn’t seen 25+ years of punishment like the Pearls, so I can’t comment on how well it will stand up (pun unintended) to repeated set ups, tear downs, and life moving around in a trap case, but given the solid construction, I expect it to do very well. Would definitely buy again.
