OXO Good Grips Glass Salad Spinner, Large/6.22 Quart, Clear

Saves a lot of time and keeps things clean. Expensive but good quality and thoughtfully designed.

Second one I bought. First one we bought almost 8 years ago. Showing signs of wear and tear so bought another one. Have not seen anything comparable to this on all my travels abroad. The mechanism is super smooth and very very efficient in removing all traces of moisture from salad leaves. Just go for it.

It is a good quality product and excellent for someone who makes small portion salads however I needed a bigger spinner so returned it, but have absolutely no complaints with the product, it's delivery or packaging. Even the return process was quite smooth.

If you love salads, this is a must have. It is a breeze to dry salad greens with this spinner. I can't imagine I used to use paper towels and tea towels to dry salad greens before. I am able to fix salads in under 10 minutes because of this little helper! It is not at all bulky and dries enough greens for 2 salads. There are some complaints on this one being too small. But in our 2 member household we toss salads with greens and other veg too. So this one is more than sufficient for 2 salads. I can easily dry half of the Trikaya lettuce or Arugula pack, or a medium sized head of lettuce in one go. If you do make salads at home regularly, buy this one and you won't regret it for one moment.

I have had this spinner for a while now, works wonderfully, is easy to clean and I love that the inner container doubles as a sieve to wash my greens. Recommend.

Product is not the same as the one i used in USA.Though the material is good, spring action of the spinner is not that good.

All the water doesn't drain out but it does a decent job

Very nice but good for just one small serving of salad which I should have realised from the size.

I've only had this spinner a short time, but it feels as if it will last. It is much better designed and made than other salad spinners I have had. It spins remarkably freely and smoothly; not particularly quickly, but it does the job. The brake is pad-on-rim style, independent of the drive mechanism - simple but effective.I have had other spinners where the bowl has cracked after a time, but this one is heavier and seems solid.

We bought the larger version of this salad spinner, and whilst it worked well for large amounts when preparing food for a lot of people, it was just too big for two people and took up a lot of storage space. So we bought this one - it works just as well as it's larger sibling, but it's a lot better to store. We initially chose OXO as they make some good quality items and these salad spinners are up there at the top. They're very well designed, with a sturdy basket and a useful bowl. Being able to lock the push mechanism in the down position makes it easier to store, and it comes apart easily to clean. The push down to spin is a great idea, especially if you have trouble with gripping a handle on a normal salad spinner. All in all, this is a great salad spinner. It's not an inexpensive item, but definitely worth the money.
