Pasta night is back
Hits the spot when you're craving cheesy, saucy meals but staying low-carb. The texture is solid, it holds sauce well, and it doesn't feel like a "diet" replacement at all. Definitely staying in my regular rotation.

Not good. Bad taste, bad texture.
I fell for a website review that gave this product a 5 star (later I found out that website was sponsored by Kaizen).... I cooked it as directed and the taste and texture of this pasta was NOT GOOD. Tasted very grainy and it did not taste like I thought a pasta should taste. My brother in law told me about Dreamfields....I tried their spaghetti and I loved that one....I will not buy Kaizen anymore...AND....CAN NOT BE RETURNED.......

Need to boil them longer but quite good.
I tried this for the first time last night. It actually is quite good. However, you have to know you will probably want to boil it for twice as long as the instructions say. I followed the instructions at first and gosh, they were much more solid than al dente, that's for sure. So, I recommend boiling them in salted water for 10 minutes or even more if you like them really soft. They are still thick and pretty chewy so different than the real thing, but probably the closest to the real thing as I've ever found. They are much too expensive for most people's budget, in my opinion.

Great for My Low-Carb Meals
I’ve been using this for quick weeknight dishes, and it works great. The protein makes it satisfying, and the flavor is mild enough to go with any sauce.

Disappointing Quality
This pasta wasn’t a good substitute for regular pasta in my opinion. I expected it to have a “mouth feel” like other pastas and pasta substitutes, it didn’t. The first time I cooked it for seven minutes and used it for Mac n cheese - that time frame left it under done, BTW very little taste. The next time I cooked it for 9+ minutes, it was still not satisfactory. The pasta walls feel weird, thick. So far we like the GF Barilla (Corn) pasta which is locally available in my grocery store and LeVeneziane (Corn) pasta which is available on Amazon. Both taste like regular pasta and the texture is right. At some point I will try the yellow pea pastas but that is not available locally. Amazon is great and I don’t mind buying quantity of an item - if I like it - but GF foods are expensive and so far there have been more misses than hits in what we’ve ordered and then throwing away the rest of a bulk order is frustrating.

This Low Carb Gluten Free Pasta Can Easily Pass For The Real Thing! Kaizen Pasta is AMAZING!
I can't say enough good things about this Amazing Kaizen pasta. It is made with Lupin Flour, and a one cup serving (cooked) has only 6 net carbs and 20 g of protein! I have made so many recipes using this pasta. Mac N Cheese, Italian pasta salad, Tuna Casserole, Macaroni Salad and the latest was a blind taste test for my skeptical son. I bought two packages of Hamburger Helper - Cheeseburger. The first I cooked as packaged. The 2nd I substituted Kaizen Cavatappi Pasta for the included macaroni in the box. I really thought he would be able to tell the difference, but believe it or not, he chose the Kaizen pasta over the real thing! I have just received my 2nd batch and can't wait to experiment some more with the delicious looking recipes on the Kaizen website. I could only post two pictures, but wish I could share them all. Now, this is not a completely fool proof substitute, as it can have a slight chewy texture if put in the refrigerator after cooking and reheating. Just make sure you add enough sauce, mayo, dressing to re-hydrate. I don't feel deprived at all. There is a 3 box minimum for purchase, so it may seem pricey... but, if you have been missing your favorite pasta recipes, please give this a try.

Tastes awful. Grainy and plasticky texture.
Pros: It's pasta and you can douse it in sauce to try to save it. Cons: It's only *barely* pasta. Immediately grainy and plasticky texture in the mouth. Takes twice as long to cook than package says. Taste is so foul I could barely take 4 bites even after smothering in sauce. Might try other offerings from this brand but I will never buy the cavatappi or any thick pasta shapes again.

Definitely not worth the price!!
I would give this zero stars. It tasted horrible and had a bad texture- chewy and gummy at the same time.

I have bought different types of pasta, made from Shitaki mushrooms, mung beans, but this is the worse inedible non-pasta I have ever bought...save your money, smells like dirty wet carpet, doesn't taste any better. This is not food. 😳 If I could give it a minus star I would!
