Review: It works - I use this on my Canon R5 Mark II. In the past, I’ve used Canon Connect for firing my camera remotely. The preparation was effective but time consuming. This remote shutter release works. In addition, the release works just like the shutter release on the camera. Holding it 1/2 way down allows me to check the focusing on the camera.

**Q: Whay not communicate between Transmitter and Receiver? I set #1 and #2 code on both side. I can take a picture just pressing reciver button.**
A: Hello,
Simple Operation - How to use:
1. Install the AAA battery included to both the receiver and the transmitter. (Make sure to remove the plastic protective paper on the battery before installation)
2. Set the receiver and transmitter to the same channel (Normally the channel is already matched when you receive the package, so actually you don't need to set it, but if you ever reset the channel, make sure they are the same)
3. Once the batteries are properly installed and the channels are matched, when you press the shutter button on the transmitter, both the LED bulb on the transmitter and receiver will light up. (If not, please check if the battery is installed correctly or the battery is dead)
4. Once the transmitter matches the receiver, connect the receiver to the camera via the camera connecting cable which is included in the package, then set the transmitter into the working mode you want, and finally press the shutter button to take a photo wirelessly.

**Q: Will it fit a canon eos 2000d?**
A: It fits an electronic flash unit socket. Anything that fits this type of socket will be OK.

**Q: will this fit a Canon 4000D camera with a usb port ?**
A: No, it does not work with the Canon 4000D (Rebel T100) as this cameras does not have a remote 2.5mm remote socket.

**Q: will this work on a nikon d3500?**
A: No, it does not work on a nikon d3500.
