I always wear a hat outdoors, running for sure, under a helmet cycling, but just hanging out or also walking. The past few years, headsweats have been my go-to. That fabric is like shirt fabric, which is good, but it's more the form fit and coolness. THESE hats have a very similar fit, but it's better. HS have gotten too large for my head somehow, and they don't come in sizes. Also, they're somewhat stretchy, meaning those too-big HS hats get bigger. THESE are better. These hats, the larger size fits my head w/o adjustment (but in winter has space for a very thin beanie underneath). It's a more stiff windbreaker-type material, with mesh sides, but otherwise a nice form fit with a good sized brim that will shade your eyes, keep your face mostly protected from rain and sunburn, and keep the balding dome from reddening. Build quality seems very good -- much better than most of the cheap hats I've purchased. The fabric stretches a little bit during a long sweaty run after it gets saturated but it is easy to readjust on the fly. I have used these running in very windy conditions and not lost them to the gusts. I'm going to stock up on a few in case they run out, go OOB, or change the fit.

Nice hat for outdoors and for running. Light weight, quick dry, easy to rinse out. Vented sides provide good airflow, and reflectivity good for early morning or evening runs. The adjustment strap and keeper stay put, so the hat always fits. I wear a 7-3/8 hat, and this fits well with room to grow. Unlike baseball hats, this has NO stitch know on top and provides a smooth fit. The bill is longer than I am used to. It provides more protective shade that way, but blocks a bit more of my peripheral vision than I’m used to with other traditional hats.

This hat is pretty good. It's very light and packs very tightly so you can bring it along anywhere. In warm and hot temps it's great - keeps your face shaded but doesn't make you any hotter. I like the look of it, except it's not quite as rounded on my head as the picture, it looks a little more rectangular.

This is a really nice hat. It is light weight and breaths nicely. It can get wet and drys not quickly but it does dry. Perfect for the beach or for poolside. Colors are really nice. Did not get it to play sports so not sure how it will hold up for that but for the beach it is a really nice hat. I would highly recommend, just not sure for sports because i did not buy it for that,

I'm a runner and...OK, I admit it, I'm also balding...so I was on the lookout for a nice cap that not only would work for training, but be comfortable enough to wear each and every day. This is that hat! What I love most about this cap is how LIGHT it is and that it seems to, for the lack of a better word, fit my head "aerodynamically." It kind of "snugs" your head, but in the most comfortable way possible. Because of that, it doesn't stick up like other hats. It has plenty of breathing mesh so your head doesn't get hot, and when you do sweat from running, it catches the sweat just fine--without discoloring. I've received several compliments and recommended it to others. If you're looking for a stylish running cap, this is the one, and it's quite affordable too!

I really wanted to like this hat. Had bought to replace another running style hat that had become thread-bare and is no longer carried by Amazon (wow, that never happens?!). However, I like to have that hat actually sit on my head rather than be tied down by a relatively tight band across my forehead. The hat must be fairly tight or it rides down on the backs of my ears and rubs. Do I just have a small head? Unisex hat?!?! It is medium weight, not light-weight. There is an air perforation netting that works fairly well. The hat is fine but if I'd tried in on at a store, I would not have bought it and began looking for a hat that fit well.

After comparing many quick dry hats, I went with this one. No regerts. It’s very lightweight and not too long of a bill. I typically have problems with men’s hats where the cat sides go so far down they touch the top of my ears. This one checks out for me for not doing that. I got it for outdoor use like fishing, kayaking and swimming. The inside of the bill is plastic so no worries about it warping from moisture. It has plenty of breathability and haven’t tested it yet, but I’m sure it will dry very quickly.

Great hat for the gym. I have several colors of this hat that I wear at the gym. They absorb sweat, dry quickly, look good, and are very comfortable. If you need a stylish lightweight hat, particularly for vigorous activity, then this is an excellent choice.

Cap has air vents which helped today as I used the cap when I mowed my lawn this afternoon. It is adjustable and any surplus band can be tucked away under the back rim. Great cap for around $8 CAN.
