Good overall
Don't have much experience with this type of thing however it does what it claims to do with no mess, don't expect a miracle though. Feels comfortable on the face. A big plus is the three shade option you can play around with. Small size container is nice and discrete and lid screws on. 12/11/19 After a few weeks of use I'm updating this review from four to five stars. Once you get the hang of how to properly apply the stuff it works very well and would recommend it.

Reduce the appearance of blemishes with no signs of a coverup
I bought this to cover small acne and shaving blemishes. My skin is pale with reddish undertones and I find a mixture of the lighter yellow and the mid pink to be perfect for my skin. The point of this product is to bring an area on your face that is not your natural skin tone into harmony with your natural skin tone, i.e. a red pimple, razor bump, small cut. This is not one of those face paint wheels. It's too easy to apply too much if you're not careful. It's also easy to get caught up over 100% hiding a blemish rather than trying to reduce the prominence of it. My recommendation is to use the tiniest amount you need. Gently cleanse your face and pat it dry. Apply a moisturizer of some sort if your face is particularly dry. I just use a facial sunscreen (EltaMD) as this adds enough moisture to my skin and my natural oils are enough. Allow any moisturizer to sit for a few minutes and pat off any excess with a facial tissue to reduce shine. Put a small amount of the desired concealer onto a clean finger and lightly dab the blemish until the concealer adheres to the skin. Focus on the worst part of the blemish. If you need to you can apply several layers. I will often pat the area with a tissue after applying as this will blend the concealer naturally and not remove too much in the process. Smooth the edges to ensure a natural gradient with the rest of your skin and no one will notice you're wearing a concealer. If you have a picked or scratched your face (bad bad bad) you will find that it might weep and is going to be near impossible to cover. My recommendation is to wait for any bleeding or weeping to fully stop before concealing. Some guys will apply vaseline to a razor nick. It will help if you use a facial tissue and apply pressure, sometimes you need to do this for 10-15 minutes before it stops bleeding or weeping. I find that toiler paper helps because the small fibers stick to the surface of the skin and provide a surface that the concealer will adhere to. Please be delicate with your skin and avoid picking, squeezing and scratching. The worst part about having a concealer is how it can make you care less about making blemishes worse when you know you can cover them up. Don't pop pimples when there is no visible head. Shave with the grain before shaving against the grain. I have to shave with the grain, across the grain twice in opposite directions before I can shave against the grain. If you're looking to apply a concealer to blemishes you're probably very frustrated with them, but the more you take that frustration out on your skin the worse it will get.

Very versatile
The three different tones are very useful and can blend together to achieve a match with your skin. I use it on face to cover up rashes from shaving, blemishes , small bruises from accidents etc . Hey ..don't judge. Women use make-up all the time . Why not us men occasionally ?

This concealer cakes on me...
I purchased this item because I was looking for a concealer to hide a new, small facial scar and I liked how it comes with 3 different colors for blending. Well, it somewhat works, but when I looked in my 10x magnification mirror, I could see it was a little caked up. Not good for me because as a man who doesn't really believe in wearing makeup, I don't want any signs of it showing. I want to hide my scar so I can feel confident, and that's all. It seems creamy and moist at first, but it applies caked up. To me, it seems like it needs more moisture or oil or something to go on smoothly and disappear on your face. This product also doesn't come with an applicator, so I guess they expect you to use Q-tips. I didn't use Q-tips because I ordered a pack of disposable eye shadow applicators that, to me, seemed like a better way to apply. It does come with some vitamin C facial wash, however, which I have yet to use but it says it exfoliates. I'm only rating the makeup, however; and since I don't know much about makeup, I will be fair and give this 3 stars instead of 2. It seems like a quality product; but upon use, it doesn't really give me the results that I'm looking for. That said, someone with more experience with makeup might get more use out of it. But the question remains: am I able to hide my scar in a way that's satisfactory for me? The answer is, yes. This is one of many concealers I bought at once to make sure I find the right one for me and the best I found is called "Maybelline master conceal" and it comes in a 12ml 0.4 FL.OZ. tube. It goes on smooth and blends in until it's hardly noticable. It doesn't cake like the formen concealer. And again, I use the disposable eye shadow sticks to apply which works very well. Edit: Just an update that I recently had my scar removed with laser surgery. Not an ordinary scar, mind you. It had some pigment inside from when it happened that basically made it like a small tattoo. I no longer need any kind of makeup which, as a man, I am very grateful. Something that any guy (or woman for that matter) with a pigmented scar may consider. Let it be checked out to see if that is an option for you.

Really works!
Awesome male concealer. Easy application and hides what you want it to hide (all day long). Really nice feel, like a luxury light cream.
