I bought this Manduka Begin Yoga Mat 68" – 5mm on Amazon in September and started using it regularly in December. Unfortunately, after a period of use I’ve found that it really does not perform as a basic yoga mat should. As soon as my hands and feet start to sweat even a little, the surface becomes very slippery. It is hard to hold even the most fundamental poses, such as Downward-Facing Dog and the Warrior poses, without my hands and feet sliding. This is not just uncomfortable – it feels unsafe and affects my ability to practice at all. Given the brand reputation and the product description, I expected a mat with at least reliable grip for normal practice. Instead, the mat has turned out to be almost unusable for me in real practice conditions. I can no longer continue using it. I realize that I am now past the normal return window, but because this mat does not function as a proper yoga mat and poses a slipping risk during basic use, I kindly ask that Amazon/the seller consider a refund or replacement as an exception.

As a beginner, I am not sure what I was truly looking for, but I’m so glad I landed on this one. It has done everything I’ve needed thus far.

Es un gran tapete de diario. Lo uso todos los días y también es super fácil de transportar, a veces si tengo que usar un poco mas de soporte en las rodillas doblándolo o con una cobija, pero es porque tengo lesiones. Fuera de eso el grip es buenísimo, tiene una línea de guía para alinear ñas posturas y el precio está perfecto, además de que está hecho con materiales reciclados y tienes garantía de por vida. Recomendadísimo

Ligero, práctico y excelente

I have been using it for 2 years now for workouts (cardio, HIIT, yoga, strength exercises) and even for meditation, and I just love it. Perfect thickness, length, feeling. I wanted it as I have another one at another location and I am a fan of this specific mat.
