Is this actually ink or pencil lead?

Very fine felt tip marker. You can pull more felt out with needle-nose pliers if you need a scosch more. Adam Savage has done a Tested video on this pen. The company also makes mechanical pencils, but I have not reviewed those first hand.

Where to buy the ink?
