L-Mesitran Honey Wound Gel – Promotes Faster Healing for Cuts, Burns & Post-Surgical Wounds – 1.75 oz

I would give this ten stars if I could. I first discovered it works to treat dog ear infections when my dog suffered for years with one at great expense and aggravation. As a physician, I found vet literature using this product with 80% success. Worked! I then used it on me for any cuts and on my cat that had pus coming from a cat fight. Recovered fully using twice daily on the scratch. Miracle! Never buying polysporin again!

This product is not only non-reactive it’s also helping wound recovery much faster than when I was only using bacitracin (which I was having a reaction to). Good alternative to antibiotic ointment if you can’t tolerate neosporin or smth. I’ve been changing the dressing every five hours or so and it looks way nicer every time I check. Since this is for wounds a little goes a long way. It is def a little sticky.

This product is magic! My cat disappeared for 5 days and when she returned she had an infected wound on her shoulder. I cleaned it out but as it was the weekend I couldn’t get her to the vet till Monday at the earliest. I used this ointment on her twice a day and by Monday the infection had resolved and two days later the wound had healed without going to the vet. I then had the same issue on my 12 lb elderly poodle mix. Witinin 2 days she was as good as new.

I am on my second tube of wound gel. I'm using it on a surgery incision that is not closing. My surgeon says that it is closing slowly but surely with the use of Soft Honey wound gel. I have one complaint about the product: on my first order, I ordered the smallest tube. On the second order, I ordered the largest tube because the cost per oz was much better than on the small tube. The large tube, however, was only half full. The savings on the large tube are lost if it's only filled to half capacity.

Got a second degree burn from heating pads. Tried hydrogel, SSD, antibiotics before this one. Having read a bunch of papers and finally decided to stick with this product while the other stuff really just not doing squat for me. The only downside of this product is unlike other sticky honey, it's too fluid, nearly liquid and barely stays on the wound even with an absorbing pad on top of it. I can only apply a tiny amount of gel at a time to make sure it doesn't flow out of the pad. However for its effectiveness in sterilizing and healing wounds I'll bear with it. Thanks the distributor for selling this "unknown" product. It really deserves to be the standard treatment for burns imo. btw don't bend the tube if you also have a habit of squeezing and folding half of the tube like I do, it would be torn easily.

I got this after reading an article that it can reduce the healing time of cold sores and it worked so much better than I expected! I had a massive cold sore, the worst I've had in YEARS, half my lower lip. I thought for sure it would be a 2-3 week healing time but this stuff healed it completely in 1 week. Very impressed, worked better than anything I have ever tried and after 30 years of dealing with cold sores, I have tried just about everything! This will be my go to from now on for cold sores.

I get huge avulsion, tear wounds, on my arms and legs. (fragile skin). Anyway tear wounds end up very large, bleed like you are dying because they just tear a huge flap away usually 2”x3-4” or up to 4”x6” on legs. Do it enough and you no longer have skin pigmentation. They hurt like the devil because of the nerve endings at the surface of your skin. They take a month or two to heal. Old age is wonderful but has its physical drawbacks but I still highly recommend it.
