Very reliable and worth it
Bought this feeder in 2022. Just recently the feeder’s motor finally stopped working! It’s Feb 2026! Such a good run. This is an incredibly efficient cat feeder. Here are a couple of notes to consider. 1. The spill resistance isn’t great after a year. I had to create my own latch to cover the lid after two spill incidents. 2. The portion sizes are not consistent. But not too inconsistent that I was any kind of worried about the portion itself. But with a dispensing feeder that makes sense. 3. The app is a little laggy and not very user friendly but it’s easy to figure out with some time. 4. Super easy to put together. Loved this feeder so much and I am sad to throw it away. I’m sure now that it’s 2026 there’s new and improved versions and I hope they last just as long as

Works great
I’ve been using it a little over two weeks. Sometimes I work late and wanted something that would hold storage and keep my fur baby on a schedule so I don’t have to rush home, was also an ease of mind when going out of town. I thought you could use this without batteries since it mentions dual power and could not. I figured out that no matter how close it is to the router it just won’t stay connected without batteries when you leave and it just stops connecting which was weird. Since I started using the dual power with the batteries I have no issues staying connected through the app and being able to set a schedule and the app sends a notification at a 30 second ish delay but it’s delivered the food without a problem. The portion sizes are really small but you can measure personally to see how much of the portions to give at one time which is helpful. It makes a beeping noise when it is feeding time and I think he’s learned that and goes straight for the food when it dispenses. The app also shows the level of battery left on the batteries which is holding up pretty well and I haven’t had to change them since I started using it and it’s still at a full charge. It holds a decent amount of food and I like that the stainless steel bowl is detachable to clean right away without having to take the whole thing apart, even the storage part is easily detachable on the sides. Was easy to clean and put together, instructions were easy to follow and there was even a bar code to scan that gives you the correct app which was called smart life. Overall I have no complaints and would definitely recommend.

Great!
Had a little trouble at first but then customer service was great at helping me figure it out and now 4 months later it has been working great! I feel better knowing that my cat gets fed every feeding.

Good feeder, just did not work for our needs.
I think this is a great idea for a feeder, but I did run into some "things" that caused us to return it because it didn't fit our needs for feeding a semi-feral outdoor cat. NOTIFICATIONS WILL COST YOU The device is able to trigger notifications for feeding via email and/or SMS messages but it's not for free. Since I have other devices for my house that can also trigger events (but for free,) I can only assume this is a revenue stream for the company. THE BATTERY BACKUP WILL NOT LAST The device has a 4 AA battery backup but with brand new batteries with a charge of 1.6v, they only lasted less than 48 hours. Ideally, this would take larger D cell batteries and the ability to charge some NiCad's. If you lose power, which is what happened while we were on vacation, you better get power back within that period of time, or the pet isn't going to get fed. While you could use rechargeable batteries, the feeder itself won't charge them, so you'd have to remove them to ensure they're fully charged. I would assume most people are just going to use the standard non-rechargeable batteries so be ready to replace those if it does have to go off of batteries. To the companies credit, it does actually say that the device does consume a lot of power and so batteries will not last long. FOR MY SITUATION Because this feeder was placed outside, I wanted to manually control when food was distributed. In fact, I put a camera on the bowl so I could see when it was the animal I wanted to feed - but when the power went out, so did my plans for this. Ideally, if power, or Internet, were to be lost, I would have liked to have had a backup feeding schedule option. Most people probably just set the feeder to dispense a certain amount of food at a certain time of the day, so I assume my situation is unique. OVERAL OPINION I think this is a very good feeder with many options that would probably cost you a lot more in other products. If you want to feed a pet on a schedule, I think this fits the bill and you have the option of adding food manually via the internet or through the push of a button, but I don't feel the notification are all that useful. A camera would be a welcome addition (but would obviously add to the cost,) so I'd suggest getting a low-cost security camera if you want to actually monitor how much food is in the bowl. As far as my idea about the backup feeding schedule is concerned, this could be implemented via a software upgrade so it's entirely possible this can be done.

Great Features for the Price with Just One Small Wish
This feeder is surprisingly large for a single pet unit, and the six-liter capacity means fewer refills, which is always appreciated. The built-in camera is a huge bonus at this price point. The video quality is impressive, the viewing angle is wide, and I can clearly distinguish details even from farther away. The night vision mode works wel,l and being able to talk to my cats through the app while they are eating is both practical and adorable. The app itself is very easy to use. Scheduling feedings and checking camera access feels simple and intuitive. I also really appreciate the backup power option. Having both plug-in power and batteries gives peace of mind during outages and helps ensure the cats do not miss meals. The only suggestion I have is regarding the material and weight. The construction is not flimsy, but it is light enough that my cats can push it around even when the feeder is full. A sturdier or slightly heavier build would make this an even better product. Overall, for the features you get at this price, it is a very good value and a great option for pet owners who want remote feeding and camera monitoring in one unit.

Edit: okay - I'll edit this from 3-star to 5-star for the after-sale service from the seller who was nice enough to contact us to provide solution/compensation for the review below. Reminder TLDR: The dispense-now button is prominent enough at the front so your hungry pet may press it while nosing the device. If your pet isn't always craving for food like mine, it might be fine as otherwise it works perfectly as expected (even still, after a few months). -- Hey folks, so I have a orange tabby who LOVES eating more than anything else, and I got this product out of many brands that have gibberish names on Amazon mainly due to price when I had to leave the cat home alone for 2+ days without a cat sitter. It works fine in its most basic sense - easy to setup (it's got the most basic mechanism of dispensing food that you can think of, nothing fancy); big amount of container so it would hold a lot of food in storage; don't like having another app for just this but it works fine, easy to setup timers, has "feed now" feature which is also handy at times, it gives you the notification every time food is dispensed which is also nice. However the biggest problem I have is that the cat now knows there's more food to come if he urges on the machine, because it WOULD give him more food if he does that. He started by sitting nearby the machine close to / after the feeding time, as if he's praying to the alter of food for more, but then the nosing(?) started. He would nose the machine close to where the dispense button is (sometimes he would also claw into the hole where the food comes out, which would drop him a couple of kibbles most times) - and voila, the food god will answer and food dispenses.. because the dispense button got pressed. I would of course take away the bowl to keep him from eating the unauthorized dispense of food (because even though he's not fat like Garfield, he's still on a diet as recommended by my vet) but I think that made him now wolf up even the officially timer-dispensed food so quickly that the food usually ends up back on my living room floor (i.e. pukes). I saw some other products, can't remember the brand but it was probably ktojekgffz, or rt90kj, or qnj+_ojj'gsdf;;ffjio (one of these three for sure), but I remember seeing one product that had the feature to LOCK the dispense button which could come really handy for me right now. WELP, too late to return this one, so I have to think of alternative options if I'm to keep a automatic dispenser for my poor boy. TLDR; if your pet is an always-hungry beast, be aware that the "FEED" button is waaay too easy to be pressed. Good luck and go love your pets!

We ordered two of these for our cats. The first one works well! I’ve tried it with two types of cat food and both dispense effectively. The setup was easy, as was connecting it to wifi and setting up the feeding schedules. I haven’t played around with the camera functions yet, but can look through the camera as needed via the app. The second feeder was unfortunately either defective or broken in transit, but the company responded promptly and offered to send us a new one free of charge. I appreciate the prompt and effective customer service. 👍
