I love this little sewing gadget! It works perfectly for figuring out the spacing of buttons and buttonholes and is super easy to use. I love that it has the twisty screws on it to tighten it securely once I get the spacing figured out so I can move it and/or the fabric without losing my spacing configuration. Also, the slot shaped holes in the ends are perfect for using a marking pencil to mark the buttonhole lines on the fabric. I really feel like they thought of everything with this simple little gadget. I love it!

The color is really sharp and it fits my color scheme white and rose. I would love it if u had more notions in this color.

I have purchased sewing notions from Honeysew in the past, and I have always thought that they are of good quality. I like this button spacer as it is very pretty to look at and functional. The only issue I had is that it doesn’t perfectly hold spacing if you have to make adjustments, so some fidgeting is needed. I have heard this is common for these tools. Even if not perfect, it cut down the amount of time I spent trying to space out buttons on a shirt. I also like that it comes with a hemming tool. I didn’t read the item description and was so excited that it came as an added surprise in the package.

I guess I should have looked at the other pictures, the distance varies from point to point. You have to measure each one and move it… maybe good enough for a couple button holes but no better than a piece of tape with marks on it!

I was hoping this tool would help me quickly mark the center between 2 points on my sewing projects. However when you expand the gauge, one side will open more than the other thus resulting in an inaccurate center point. I also tried opening the gauge fully then compressing it, but this did not work either. So for this purpose, this was a failure. I haven't yet tried it to evenly space buttonholes. The quality and finish of the product seem to be of high quality.

Seems to be adequately made, but are not accurate. I did open & close them before using, as suggested, but still not accurate. It was off about 1/2” when spread over 15”. Ok, maybe that’s not a lot, but I wanted it so my buttonholes would be spaced properly, & it doesn’t work for that.
